In Short
For sheer people-watching potential, few Boston nightspots are better. Downstairs, Abercrombie-clad students mingle with a distinctly local crowd. Upstairs, it's an urban dance scene, with a multiethnic crowd strutting its stuff, digging the hip-hop, and macking on the bridesmaids who got lost on their way to the bachelorette party. Groups of friends frequently congregate over inexpensive Scorpion Bowls; these sweet offerings taste like punch, and pack one as well.

It can be fun...if you get there early and stay for only one drink. Otherwise, have fun waiting FOREVER in line, being charged TWICE (once to get in, another to go upstairs!), and trying to wear a jacket inside during winter months (they charge you if your jacket has a hood!). Once this place gets going (around 10 PM) there is no room to move around. Its an extremely small bar, which I'm surprise nobody has mentioned. Also, even though there is 2 floors, there is only one very small, very dirty bathroom n the first floor that you also wait forever to get in to. The "diverse" crowd here isn't unlike any other bar in Fanueil Hall. Mostly just obnoxious college students drinking too much. I'm not sure why everybody keeps saying the scorpion bowls are "cheap". They're 15 bucks a piece and gone not son after you get them. I must say though, they make great drinks and play great music but if you want to save the 10 bucks to get in, the 15 bucks for the scorpion bowls, the money to charge your jacket , the rudest staff, or waiting in line for EVERYTHING, go to any other bar in Fanuiel Hall!!!
Pros: Good food Good music
Cons: Overcrowded Expensive for value Rude staff

Never used to charge a cover, now they charge one to get in and one to get upstairs. Its good music, but the seems like the same faces all the time, even though I only go every few months. Good for a first drink before going elsewhere.
