“This is one of my favorite places to go for daytime drinks in Boston.”
“If you are looking for a place to go with some friends and have good foods and drinks this is your place.”
“The drinks are pricey but the goo.”
Snow Storm Dec 6 - you bought me a drink - who are you?.
I was sitting at the bar the night of the Boston snow storm. Someone bought me a drink, I think he then sat beside me - but we did not speak. How I wish I had initiated conversation. You will know what I am taling about. If you read this - sign in and write back. The hotel was exceptional the food, service and accommodations were first class. I can still see his face - sitting next to me - I hope I find him again some day.

Turned away at the bar!. On a recent Saturday night a goup of 5 of us strolled into the Last Hurrah. We had always walked by and figured we would stop in for a pint. The seating are was moderately crowded and it was around 11:30pm. As soon as we walked in the older gentleman at the bar looked at us and told us they had just had "last call". Funny, since the bar is open until 1am every night. This was confirmed with a phone call later. I will never step foot in here again and will tell this story to anyone who cares. Thanks for ruining our evening!
This historic Boston institution features elegant 19th century charm and its trademark Boston cream pie..
In Short
The Omni Parker House's storied bar occasionally serves as a hangout for politicians and State House workers. More often, it's filled with young insurance and mutual fund types having lots of drinks while they size each other up. Besides serving as a relaxing spot for an after-work drink, the bar provides a great spot to enjoy one of the city's trademark dishes--Boston Cream Pie.
