den of thieves. DO NOT EVER hang out in the cafe in Borders at Downtown Crossing. I used to meet students there regularly for private lessons. One day I saw someone get their purse stolen (I didn't realize it until after the fact) and then just today I had my own wallet stolen. I even asked someone to watch my stuff for me while I went to the restroom. The jerks went on a shopping spree with my credit cards immediately after. They have a security guard who was totally useless the first time I reported seeing the lady's purse get stolen; I won't even bother to report to them that my wallet was stolen - they obviously don't care.

Not a cool place unless you want to get robbed!

caffeine fix. Borders' hazelnut ice coffee is a guaranteed zing on a summer morning. i drink mine with just skim milk and the flavor is fabulous.
