Horrible Horrible Hospital. Horrible incompetent hospital. My son was in the residential program and one of the conditions to be released was to attend thier partial program. Upon release they wouldnt accept him at the partial program because they said he wasn't ready. In seems there is no communication between departments. They should be reported to the state.

A JAIL FOR CHILDREN!!!. This place isn't for the treatment of patients, its for locking them up so others don't have to deal with them. My girlfriend has been there for a little over a week now and has received no care whatsoever. Worst of all the staff treats her along with the other patients like crap. The following is a conversation that happened there. My girlfriend " If you don't have good people skills then don't work with people!!!", One of the orderlies" You aren't people, your mental patients!!!!!!". After that my girlfriend got what they call privs taken away, these are her privileges to go outside and maybe enjoy life. The only therapy given to kids in the adolescence unit is color therapy where they have the kids(Age 12-17) color in children's coloring books. Also boys and girls are not allowed to talk to each other or be near each other. Oh and for me to visit I need one of her parents there, though the only reason her doctor had her go there was to get away from her abusive parents. This place is horrible, and only the nurse and the doctor that are on duty are actually certified to be working with patients, the rest of them don't have any medical education at all. Don't send your children here, ever! One girl has been there for a month, without any real treatment. At least my girlfriend might be transferred to step down housing where she will receive treatment other than Prozac and constantly reminded that shes a mental patient in a adolescent asylum.

AWFUL!. Can I give this place NEGATIVE stars? I was given a referral to this place when having a serious psychiatric issue. First: they left a message late at night on my voicemail saying I had an appointment the next day. By the time I woke up and got the message the next day, apparently someone had called again wondering if I would make it to the appointment. I explained that I had not gotten the message, so they told me to call scheduling, which I did and asked for the next available date IMMEDIATELY. After confirming, I showed up (even early) to my scheduled appointment date just to find out that they didn't even have my file, didn't know who I was supposed to meet with, and then they proceed to tell me that the appointment was made for the NEXT day (appointment day/time I CLEARLY did not choose because I had a conflict on that day, hence why I chose the day/time I did). When I explained this to them, they didn't say anything. When I asked if I could see someone because I REALLY needed to see/talk to someone that day, they didn't do anything/didn't care! I wouldn't go back there if you PAID ME! Their lack of responsibility, organization or basic care, treatment and compassion for their fellow human beings in need has A LOT to be desired! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO ANOTHER FACILITY!

adolescent unit is not too bad. When I first read the review of this place. I started to freak out a little bit. The first night my child was there, the staffs were so RUDE to me. however, i put it a stop to it the very next day. I spoke up and told dr and social worker that this was not acceptable. Ever since its been great.. My child did enjoy her time there where she learned many different things. It has been positive stay for her.
