“The chicken with honey mustard sauce is pretty good when they cook it through.”
“It does seem like a great place to bring a bunch of hungry buddies as it's menu seems very well tailored to groups.”
“great place to enjoy a night with family and friends!”

“The waitstaff is friendly and you cannot beat the prices.”
“have been a long time customer of the Spa since elementary school and they have ALWAYS had incredible pizza.”
A locals favorite!. town spa is every locals favorite! from being quite the social scene on any given night, because you will most definitely run into at least one person you know, to having great deals and of course worlds best pizza [and honey mustard sauce!] town spa is the best.
Over Rated. I have heard a lot about Town Spa so today I took the trip from Millis over to Stoughton. I felt the pizza was very average bar pizza, not worth the price very small. I also don't feel 3 dollars for a draft is a good deal either. Same as Lynnwood's and basically the same as all the bar pizza I have tried. If you are going to go out of your way for good pizza visit Regina in the north end or make the trip to New Haven CT for some Pepe's. Also Ernesto's in the North End is also great.
TOWN SPA RULES. grew up about 2 miles away in Sharon & have been going to the "SPA" ever since I can remember.a right on BAY Rd & a left on Plain St & you were there (the new one).I'll always like the original place best, although the current location has it's own charm. Whether the whole family went on Sunday nites or WE got it to go,it was always a treat. As a kid I enjoyed all the taxidermy on the walls & remember the old men sitting @ the bar drinking drafts.been to all 48 states as a truck driver @ there's some real good pizza out there, but nothing like the "SPA".Town Spa pizza is unique @ the best I've ever had. I recommend the double cheese @ linguica!!!!! my parents went there in the late 50's when they were dating, dad said it was cool way back then.So if you've never been ,check it out !!!
Best.Pizza.Ever.. This is the best pizza ever made, if you get it thin crust, crispy. It's bar style pizza, the place has tons of TVs and a large round bar and 2 dining rooms. I have never had bar style pizza this good anywhere else. The Greek salads are better than Christo's too.
Used to be great....
...back when Town Spa was over near the RR tracks.
Since they moved to their current location on 138
the pizza is awful. I liken it to a piece of cardboard
with a little sauce and cheese on it. If you want good
bar style pizza on the south shore, go over to the
Lynwood Cafe in Randolph. They know how to do it.
Eat Here! No Contest .. Simply THE Best !.
The BEST Pizza, hands down, no contest!
Yes, I have been outside of Stoughton, outside of Massachusetts,
outside of the North East, outside the USA.
I have lived in New Jersey since 1968. I have had other Pizza.
I have had New York City's proclaimed best. I have had Wolfgang
Pucks in LA. I have had frozen pizza. I have had microwaved pizza.
The Town Spa is so much better than any of these or the others
around the world I have tasted!
Whenever I'm back in town I go to The Spa. My wife, a Jersey Girl
who disliked all pizza, fell in love with the Town Spa pizza. My son,
who has done his fair share of traveling the world rates the Town Spa pizza the best he has ever had.
We buy a dozen or so 1/2 cooked "hamburg pizzas" from The Spa
and take them back to New Jersey where we devour them.
I would think it more fair to compare plain pizzas then to eat an
exotic topping like pineapple or BBQ chicken or mangoes.
On the topic of evolution since it moved from by the police station;
yes, I think there has been a change in the spa's ingredients or preparation. I suspect cost savings measures have had an impact. Does your local pizzeria buy 55 gallon drums of tomato paste?
Does you local pizzeria sell as many pies on a weekend? I think not.
Greatest pizza ive ever had.. I admit i havnt lived that long. But i know good food when i eat it. I drive a half hour at least twice a week to get the best pizza ive ever had. The owners are very friendly people, im friends with their grandson. The recipie hasnt changed much in their long years of service to the pizza-loving public. Right throught the door you are treated as a V.I.P. with friendly waitresses, and bartenders who are very easy to get along with. The pizzas are quick and cooked to you liking, with a large varieties of toppings. I'd recommend the Town Spa Pizza for anyone looking to enjoy good atmosphere and good food.
Best Pizza ANYWHERE!!. For all you people who say Town Spa isn't the best, are mistaken!!! I have grown up on Town Spa pizza as my parents grew up in Stoughton and went to school with today's owners. My husband and I now drive an hour for Town Spa pizza! I cannot even compare it with any other pizza place in the world. The french fries are awesome! You have to get a large with lots of ketchup. Town Spa should be receive some award for the best pizza in the world!
town spa. Lived in stoughton 40 yrs. When town Spa moved to new location they did not take old ovens. They have an automated system that cranks out pizza's whether or not they are cooked all the way through! I have asked for well done pizza, bacuse of this, but the pizza come out burnted! I have not had a town Spa pizza for years! Run do not walk to yhe Lynnwood pizza, at the randolph/holbrook line. This is the original town spa reciepe, They have the old fashioned blodget ovens, the best pizza around!
Better than anything in LA. Wow. I can't believe how spoiled some of those people writing bad reviews of the Town Spa pizza are. I'm a transplanted Stoughtonite living outside Los Angeles and there is nothing in or around Los Angeles that even comes close to Town Spa pizza. You guys are so spoiled. The best we have here is that doughy mess from Pizza Hut or cardboard pizza from Little Ceasar's. If I was granted three wishes, after world peace then next one would be to have someone open a Town Spa pizza place in the Los Angeles area.
