Support your local bank...

Yes, Virginia, there's still a bank run by local people. I've banked here for over twenty years -- mortgages, checking accounts, savings accounts, money markets. The staff is the best. When you have questions, they take their time to answer them. (Nothing is ever too stupid -- even if you have asked the same question six months in a row!!!). I tried other financial institutions, but found I really preferred the personal attention of people I felt I knew. All the branches are wonderful. My personal favorite -- Green Harbor!!!
