Food is good - people are not
by vinnycriss at Citysearch
There are a dozen pizza places in Walpole, and this one probably has the closest thing to good pizza you're going to find outside the city, although Abondanza in Norwood is very good.
I have a family of six, and I'll bet I've spent well over a thousand bucks in this joint in the past two years, between parties, once a week take out, my baseball team etc.
I have to say that I kick myself whenever I buy there because the staff - whther you order on the phone or go in person - is f####ng miserable, God forbid they screw up an order - don't look for an apology.
I too have heard the owner is a jerk. I've actually heard he's worse than a jerk but that's for a different forum. So it's no surpise his staff is a bunch of a-holes.
For Greek pizza - go across the street to Rico's or try Supreme
Owner is a meanie

Tonight I made an order to my usual pizza place Leo's. As usual the order took almost an hour to get here and the pizza man was not polite. When I opened the bag of food half my order was missing and the extra condiments I had asked for were replaced with two tubs of mayonaisse. Without thinking I immediatley picked up the phone to report the problem. When I called a young kid answered and yelled to the manager and told him my problem. As I listened to the manager call me names and swear away about me, I almost hung up. Before I had the chance the boy on the phone asked me what I wanted the owner to do, bring me some extra ketchup? YES that would be nice, but no they had also forgotten a large part of the order. So I did end uo swearing at the poor kid but what a meanie the owner was. ugh the peppers they use are from the can too. EWWW.
- Pros: same delivery man every time
- Cons: mean servers
