Delicious B-fast all day.
A delightful kick-back to the retro-50s. Amazing experience. The food is delicious and cheap with a friendly staff. The omelettes are a large serving and the 50s-pink-decor makes the experience even more enjoyable. (ps efinitely get a Black&White Malt)
The line is out the door at certain times (especially on the weeknds after 12). So definitely go early for less of a wait. Fantastic ambiance, delish food. Hidden gem!
With an atmosphere (and prices) from a bygone era, this tiny Dedham diner enjoys sizable crowds..
The Scene
Awash in 1950s memorabilia, this charming diner provides its many older patrons with a nostalgic atmosphere and affordable fare. Area workers, usually seen scarfing down tuna melts and cheeseburger platters on their lunch break, enjoy the speedy service provided by friendly waitresses. With a colorful, upbeat environment and a menu full of kid-approved grub, the youngsters love it.
The Food
Only breakfast and lunch are served, but most portions are large enough to make you want to skip dinner. Start your day with filling breakfast options like three-egg omelets (served with toast and home fries), fluffy pancakes (try a stack of the tart cranberry variety), and homemade corned beef hash with poached eggs. Lunch options include fresh salads, grilled sandwiches, and juicy burgers. Hardly anything costs more than $5, and everything's available to go, including sinful concoctions from the old fashioned soda fountain (thick frappes and malts, syrupy vanilla cokes).
