Roses are Red. Hyacinths are BLUE!!!. From CA, I phoned a 50$ order for daffodils and hyacinths for my moms b-day in Canton, after discussing options for live flowers (other option: tulips). My mom said she got a couple of daffodils and some *pink* hyacinths with some fake grass. I could swear the lady and I on the phone discussed how nice blue hyacinths would look with the daffodils (blue +yellow = swedish, my mom's colors) and we didn't say anything about grass, fake or otherwise. For $50, I would expect my mom to have receive more than "a couple" of daffodils. My mom thanked me as always, but I got the hint.

I thought that by finding a local shop in a small town (a few blocks from my Mom) across the country, I could do better than on-line or FTD, but I guess I was wrong.
