Tips for Touch Of Klass

Visited this store on 4/13/13 and I can't get over how rude and ignorant the salesperson was. We were greeted immediately and she was very interested for about 1 minute in helping us. Once she was told that our budget did not include a $650.00 dressy pants outfit but rather something in the $300-$400 range she proceeded to ignore us. She walked away and pretended to help out another woman who already had a salesperson helping her. Initially I thought she was looking for outfits for us based on what we told her we were looking for but soon realized that she had dismissed us. I sought her out and asked about a couple of different designers and she had no answers and made no attempt to get us the info. I then made a third attempt, asking her about the line Simply Silk that can be ordered as separates. She said she didn't know if that was the case. I asked if she could find out. She didn't bother to ask anyone else in the store and then lamely said she was going to a show next week and would find out then. When I asked if she could call the company and find out for Monday she said she does not work Monday. Was it too much to ask for someone else to do the research and let me know? RUDE RUDE RUDE. Don't waste your time with this place. If I could give them less than 1 star, that's how I'd rate this place. NO CLASS.

Don't Let the Name Fool You. I couldn't agree more with two of the posters here. the one that rated them with five stars, must be the owner or a family member. They are by far the most ignorant rude people I have ever dealt with. After experiencing the uncomfortable atmosphere the minute you walk in, i cant believe anyone would return. Who likes someone throwing dresses at you and then opening the dressing room curtain on you. Never met more pushy women in my life! Can't believe they have been in business as long as they have. However, Our Secret next door, Terri is the most friendly, helpful person.

So disappointed!!!!!. I went here with my mother looking for a mother of the bride dress. We got in and were helped by a very nice woman, who kept pulling dresses that my mother just didn't love. Unfortunately many stores that carry MOB dresses have very frumpy looking dresses and although my mother is short and heavy, she doesn't want to wear something my grandmother would wear. This woman helping us then asked the owner/manager to help us a little. She kept forcing dresses on my mother that she said she didn't like. My mother then put on a dress, and she lining was bunched and she proceeded to tell my mother she was wrong and she looked terrible in the dress and she should "just take it off"! How insulting!!!! Plus since my mother is heavy, she is a little hesitant about seeing her change, and this woman kept just opening the curtain like it wasn't a big deal! Hasn't she ever heard of personal space??? Needless to say this was the worst shopping experience ever, I wouldn't recommend that anyone shops here ever!!!!!

Couldn't be more pleased. I have shopped at Touch of Klass for numerous special occasions and have always been satisfied with the service. To my knowledge, no one is paid by commission so they all help, it does not matter which person is working when you start and end your search. As far as the 24 hour return policy, though it is different than a department store, I can understand the point as I personally know people that buy items at other stores, wear it for a special occasion and then return it. I do not blame small business owners for trying to protect themselves.

beware. Look out at this " boutique" ... unless you're looking for it, you won't know until it's too late that all sales are final.

I felt pressured into making a purshase, I am easily swayed though.... the owner " had plans" and had to close right at 5pm... I thought, "I'll just buy this , she was adiment the dress looked great on me . Though I voiced my doubt about liking the dress, she never told me that it'd be a final sale. she just wrote it on the bottom of slip on all caps! I did not wear the dress to the event, and struggled for a few weeks with the dilemma of whether I should call to ask for at least an exchange. When I did, I was told there was" nothing she could do for me, she did't need the dress in the store!"
