In the past I have used Total Entertainment for my Block Party needs. They have been kind enough to offer a discount due to the large amount of items I rent. This year I went and OK'd the same items as in the past, for what I assumed would be the same/similar price. Was I wrong. The items were delivered with an invoice for $240 MORE than in the past. I live 6 miles for their location and was charged a $100 delivery fee and $42 "processing fee". I called to discuss and I was told the price of gas was the cause of the increase and the other fee was their cost to process my transaction. Keep in mind I was setting up all the attractions myself because I did them a favor by allowing them to deliver a day early and free up their truck for the following day. I was misled to think I was getting the same price as in the past, and despite all my arguing they only took $50 off a bill of close to $1,000. I called a couple of other places and found them to be cheaper and more accomodating. Total Entertainment is only concerned with making money and they don't care about customer satisfaction. It's all about $$$. I strongly encourage anyone thinking of using them to look elsewhere as they can find better service for less money.

Pros: Large Selection

Cons: Don't care about the customer

I recently rented a Mime for a backyard party for $300/HR. Dave at Total Entertainment who told me he would personally be there, sent a a larger woman that normally played the character of a clown. This clown/mime for a day stood off to the side making balloon's, the ballons were great, but not worth $20-$35 each?!? The fraud Mime did not know how to do simple Mime tricks like "the box" or "the rope." To her credit, she did try to perform for the crowd and I give her credit for having the courage to do so. I truley question the integrity, honesty and accountibility of this company and their event manager. You can find them easily by doing a simple google search but I recommend you look elsewhere.
