Great old school lanes

I had a great time at this place. There are six lanes and it has the most character of any place I've been to -- The owner knows more than anybody I've seen about candlepin bowling and even other types of bowling. The place is a gem.

The place is a pig sty. Trash and clutter is everywere!

Pins are the old wooden ones, lanes are not in good condition and are in need of major refinishing.

Lanes are warped and pins often fall down by themselves

Never have I seen so much clutter in a public establishment.

This place has 6 lanes and was built in the early 1930s.

I doubt that any upkeep has been done in 30 years.

I laugh thinking there is a bowling establishment as grungy and sub-par as Georgetown bowling Lanes.

They use "Glade air freshener" instead if "anti-fungle shoe spray" so I would bring my own shoes if possible.

Minus 7 to 10 pins off of your bowling average if you bowl here.

• Pros: If you like dives, this is were you want to go!
• Cons: The lanes are old and warped, the pins are made of WOOD!
