Oh. My. Goodness. This by far my favorite place in the entire world. They take incredible care of every horse and pony, and would never ignore even the smallest of problems. The barn manager is one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. And to irideon, I know who every one of the people who you are talking about is, and it really upset me to hear your comment. They aren't snobby at all and I have never seen such confident, funny, amazing people/riders I have seen in my life and I love seeing them every time I go to the barn, though most of them don't know me as well as I would like them too. I have been here for only one year, after switching over from a barn I had ridden at for 5 years, and have learned that THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER and I wouldn't even THINK about moving to a different barn again.

Pros: care, horses, lesson program, staff, people, friends, schooling shows, family atmosphere

Cons: I couldn't think of one if I tried...

i have ridden at this barn forever, and i have been with the owner/trainer of the barn for 6 years, and i dont think i have ever loved any place as much as i love this farm. my instructor (the owner of the farm) is the one person that i love/trust most in my life as much as my own parents. i have NEVER been unhappy with anything at all here, and i look forward to coming every day. i board my horse here, and she is always so happy and she loves her home so much! she is always flawlessly cared for and i have never once in my life heard of anyone ever say 1 thing bad about the care of the horses at August Farm. each and every one of the horses there recieve 100% IMPECCABLE care. the staff there is absolutely unbelieveable, and they know each horse's personalities and special qualities, and pick up any little thing that might be wrong with one of the horses in a second. they then immediately act to fix the problem and will do anything in their power to protect the health and happiness of the horses there. the lesson program is amazing and all of the school horses are perfectly cared for, very happy, and excellent at their job, and are so completely safe for children of all ages. everyone there is SO nice and all of them are my best friends, no matter how old they are!!! i love everyone there from ages 5 to 35. i dont believe that anyone could EVER have anything bad to say about this farm. and to irideon, i would also very much appreciate it if you could not speak that way about my best friends at the best place on this earth. with all due respect, i completely disagree with you and i think that this barn is absolutely positively 100% perfect in every way.

Pros: EVERY SINGLE THING

Cons: NOT ONE THING
