Don't go here.
Why would a vet who thinks an 11 year old cat may have renal failure make a person have the cat go through every test (xray, ultrasound, blood test) and have a bill of four figures for one day. All
that was needed to determine this was a blood test. The doctor took advantage of a heartbroken cat parent. My cousin was new to the area and wasn't aware of other vets like the one in Revere on Broadway that is decent.
So this morning the cat had to go back to the vet because he was in distress. After trying to talk about possible options - of which there is really only one. The place charged $179 to euthanize the cat... are you kidding me? Stay away - once this place lost Dr. Dan if became a corporate nightmare. Maybe they get commission for each test?? Sure felt like that today!…
Great Pet Care.
VCA Everett Hospital, previously known as Dr. Dan's and Wholepet Vet Hospital is wonderful. The staff, especially the receptionists and technicians are friendly, warm and are truly animal lovers.
It is amazing how they can calm down a frightened animal. Dr. Dan was my favorite Vet, but since he left, it took a while to adjust to the new doctors, but they have given my pets great care. When I lost my baby to old age they were extremely sensitive to our grief and handled the process with grace and dignity. They even gave us a memento of an angel charm as a memory.
The only "con" I have is sometimes they try to sell extra's that you don't need or want, but it seems like most veterinarians do this now a days, and at least they accept your no thanks.
If you havea sudden emergency or illness with your pet, they get you in right away and
their location is very convenient, right offf rte 16 and there is plenty of parking, plus a little rocky area, in case your pet needs to releive themselves prior to the visit. Your pets are in good hands at VCA Everett.…
