One of my favorites!

I love pizza and have eaten at a lot of places in and around the city. And one of my all-time favorites is Dough East Boston. Not only is their food just incredibly good, but their menu has variety and creativity. I have yet to try something there that I don?t end up raving about. The Vermonter is my all-time favorite, but the pizza is always amazing.

It?s a great place to grab some delicious food-- and not go broke.

FRRRRRRRRESH

I am glad to see Dough up here as it is a great local pizza and sub shop that goes beyond what you would expect for a pizza and sub shop. It is a great place to stop in for takeout or if you are lucky enough to live in Eastie, get delivery. Dough catered a work function and the usually picky docs were in love w/ the food b/c the selection was awesome and the ingredients, breads and crusts were all very tasty. Since I am broke, I am always looking for the cheaper places in the area and Dough is super filling without charging Boston prices. It's a great deal.

• Pros: Freshness of ingredients, friendliness of staff, value for your money
• Cons: The interior decorating--like the local artists stuff tho

Something for Everyone

Dough East Boston is exactly what I look for in a pizza/sandwich shop. This place has great variety and it's obvious these guys know what they're doing, and enjoy doing it. The menu is large enough that you could easily get something different every time, yet good enough that it's hard to stray from your favorites (The Vermonter sandwich is to die for, and the BBQ pizza is a pleasant surprise). I recommend this place to friends all the time!

• Pros: All-around great food, fun place to stop to and/or from Logan
• Cons: I wish they had a larger delivery area
