Happy with my hair. I went to Danielle with my Groupon and she did a great job. I finally got the haircut and color that I have been looking for. I moved here from out of state and had been to 2 other places that didn't do what I wanted. One place actually turned my hair red instead of blonde and had to be corrected. Danielle was super nice and listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy with everything. There were no pressures to buy their porducts (but I did buy a little something anyway). I love my new and improved hair and will be back :)

Found My New Salon!. I was looking for a change after going to the same stylist for 20+ years! I am very happy that I found Salon Bella Sorella! Megan did an excellent job with my cut and color. I am calling today to make my next appointment!

Very comfortable and professional. I went to this salon because Jerry was my stylist and he moved there. It is a great salon. It was my first time there and every one was so friendly like I had been going there for awhile. I wouldn't be afraid to go to any of the other stylists as well if Jerry were busy or out. I also got an eyebrow and chin wax done and they very nicely rounded down the price of the two for me. I was very impressed with the service and Jerry is just as amazing as ever! I definitely recommend this salon to any one.

Hidden Gem in the 'burbs. I've been going to Bella Sorella for nearly five years now and I love it! I had moved to Saugus and was getting tired of driving all the way over to Comm Ave in Boston to get my hair done so I started looking for a more local place. I found Bella Sorella and have not looked back since. I always go to Megan although I would not hesitate to go to any of the others if she were not available...they are all wonderful. The atmosphere is great there; it's always warm and inviting and fun! I always feel like I've had a great girls day out when I leave...and that's just from the conversations. I am always more than happy with my hair when I leave (Megan is particular good with color...we've tried lots of options and I've been happy with all of them) and having compared notes with friends who use salons in Boston and Newton, I am definitely happy with their prices. Try them, you won't regret it.

Excellent Salon and Stylist. I have had my hair done at Bella Sorella many times. My stylist, Jerry Zullo, who I've been going to for years recently began working at Bella Sorella and I absolutely love it. Jerry's coloring technique is amazing. He always knows what I want even when I try something new and gets my color just right. My hair is very thin and curly and he knows just how to cut it to give it volume and style. Jerry has also given me kerotin treatments many times and they have completely transformed my hair. My hair is so soft and is not frizzy like it tends to be naturally. Jerry is also so much fun and very friendly. He takes the time and gets to know you. He also treats his customers very well in terms of pricing and scheduling. I highly recommend Bella Sorella and cant say enough about the quality work done by Jerry Zullo.

amazing every time. I love getting my hair done here. Every single one of the staff members is friendly and they are all very talented. No matter what you get done, they do an amazing job. I always recommend them to family and friends. I would never go anywhere else.

just an awful experiance:(. First and last time. Didn't feel welcomed and didn't get what I really wanted, don't go here. Ruined my hear so bad OMG! For the money and I still tipped 20$ I was crying for days.....awful really awful experience. Color and cut doesn

Bella Sorella's Outstanding Service. My hairdresser of quite some time now, Jerry, just recently became apart of the Bella Sorella staff where I think he fits in wonderfully. Jerry is an amazing hairdresser and the salon is just as amazing as he is. Everything is homey and comfortable there and everyone that works there makes you feel great about yourself. I have NEVER come out of there unsatisfied with my hair.

Everything's great, only one complaint.. I just moved to the Saugus area in November and I have been petrified to trust anyone new with my hair. I'm very picky and hard to please. After a mix of reading good reviews and not being able to wait any longer, I decided to try Salon Bella Sorella. I called and was able to book a same-day appointment for 6pm with Danielle. Right off the bat that was nice because it's usually hard to get a same day appointment with a talented stylist. I put the address in my GPS and realized when I got there that I didn't even need to. The location is very easily accessible in a quaint little plaza right off route 1 next to the mall. So I got there 10min early as I try to always do and was promptly greeted by the friendly and polite receptionist and offered refreshments while I waited. The salon was very nice looking and had good energy. At 6:05-sih Danielle came over and introduced herself to me and told me that she was running a bit behind. This did not bother me, because they did after all squeeze me in for a same day appt. At about 6:15/6:20 Danielle was ready for me. She covered all the bases and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. We made a plan and started at 6:35. She did a light soap-cap on my ends, foils, and partial color, then a toner, trim, and blow dry. Danielle's demeanor was very pleasant and she was confident and clearly experienced in what she was doing. By 845 it was all done and it looked perfect. Exactly what I wanted. The total price was $120 after a 10% first timers discount. Not bad. Now what was the complaint you ask? Well, i'm getting to that. They had the new "feather extensions" available at the salon. If you don't know what a feather extension is then you can google it. They're cute and a great alternative to adding streaks of color for an edgy look because you don't have to go through the time and damage of bleaching and dying strips of your hair. Anyways, I decided to have 4 "bundles" put in. I'm not quite sure why there should be any difference between "bundles" and "single feathers" other than the name because all it takes is a dab of adhesive and a rolling of the feather tips between one's fingers to turn single feathers into a bundle. There certainly shouldn't be a difference in price. And the price of these feather extensions, whether they be "bundles" or "singles" should be no more than $5 to $10 per extension TOPS. These extensions aren't like regular extensions. They are feathers which are ridiculously cheap, they are easy to make, easy to apply, and only last a month at the most. I know a girl who charges $3 DOLLARS per extension. At no point was the price of these feather extensions mentioned except for when I got to the register and was horrified to hear that I owed ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for my 4 extensions. That's TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS per bundle! Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! It's a good thing I happened to have an extra hundred on me or else I would've been sh*t out of luck. I'm really disappointed to see them charging that much for the feathers. To be quite honest, I have not done research yet on how much they normally go for, but what I stated previously still stands. The product itself is cheap and the application process is easy and quick, therefore the cost of the service should reflect that. Hence my girlfriend only charging $3 per extension. I would hope that most people realize this and refuse to pay exorbitant prices for them. With that said, if it weren't for the feather incident then I would've been entirely pleased and I definitely will be going back to Danielle. Over-all I had a good experience and i'm very happy to have found my new salon/stylist.

**After doing a bit of research I found that many companies who provide these feathers charge WAY TOO MUCH for them and that's probably why the salon had to charge so much. They are available for $2 to $3 per feather if you do a little shopping around and buy in bulk. No need to pay $20 per feather.
