Editorial Review for L'Andana Grill – by Gerrish Lopez
In Short
Rustic farmhouse elements, Italian mosaics, and chandeliers made from old wine barrels mix with steel and bronze to create a spacious yet quiet dining area. Dressy couples and groups dine on classic pastas and wood-grilled fish and meats. Classic items like beef carpaccio, fonduta, and sopressata shape the traditional Italian menu while surprises like wagyu meatballs shake things up. Dessert menu highlights include chocolate marscarpone truffles and white chocolate bread pudding.

we recently went here to celebrate a graduation- the location was very convenient, the decor lovely and the service was top notch, but i have to say i was a little disappointed with the food. before going to the restaurant i had looked at the menu online and had my heart set on the pork chop and sweet potatoes- so i was very sad when it turned out that it wasn't on the menu when we got to the restaurant! none of the other options really caught my eye- perhaps because so many of them had either gorgonzola which i don't like, or tree nuts which i am deathly allergic to. clearly- i am being very self centered with this review, but this is MY opinion, right? anyway- i ended up ordering the chicken which was okay but really needed more lemon juice (which the amazing staff brought right away), and was bigger than anyone could have reasonably eaten- i shared mine with most everyone else at the table and still had 1/2 to take home. given my nut allergy, the desert options were also pretty limited, so i had the chocolate cake- it was okay but the ice cream that came with it didn't really have enough flavor to stand with the cake. so this place was okay- but for the cost i was really hoping to be blown away- which, sadly, i wasn't.
Pros: incredible service, easy location, easy parking, yummy sides
Cons: food was just "okay"

Went on Saturday night. Had 8:00 reservation. Got there 7:45 (there is no recession here) We were seated right on time at a very comfortable table. Waiter showed up right a way. Everything was excellent . Good drinks. Very good bread. The PEI mussels are taken out of the shells. The swordfish was very good. Never had to ask for water. The tables are far enough apart to give you privacy and you can hear everyone at the table. A real find for us.
Pros: everything
Cons: none
