Boston >Nile Lounge
“The atmosphere was refreshing and uplifting, the service was exceptional, and most importantly, the smoke was exquisite.”
“Tall, tangle-free and fresh hookahs with rich shisha flavor in a clean and tidy cafe, perfect for good conversation with friends!”
“The ambiance is great def a recommendation to any tourists visiting Boston or people wanting a fun experience.”
“The Baklava was dry, and overpriced.”
I have always been a believer in checking online reviews before trying a place. The reviews I have seen on this site, however, have really changed my opinion on the reliability of what people have to say.
The first time I came to Nile was about 3 months ago, and I've been back several times since, whenever I have time. Frankly, it's consistently been a great experience.
I was shocked to see how bad customers reviewed Nile when I came to this site. What shocked me more was the dishonesty and inaccuracy of the reviews themselves.
One reviewer said the baklava was terrible. Nile doesn't even serve baklava!
Another reviewer commented on the decor, saying something about red pillows. All the couches are brown! The only splash of red in the entire room is on a painting!
Another person claimed the food is outsourced. Nile only serves fries and pita. How and why would these items be outsourced? And they're delicious, by the way.
Another reviewer commented on how low the celings were. This shocked me the most- Nile has extremely high celings, and a very open floor plan.
As far as the service goes, it has honestly been a pleasure. The one time I had an issue with my hookah, the waitresses fixed it immediately and the manager came over to apologize for it himself.
Some people complain about parking here; it's true, it's a real pain, especially on weekend nights. But is it really the fault of the business? It's located in the city on a busy street! Unfair complaint.
The only thing keeping me from giving this place a 5 star review is the fact that they don't accept reservations, and it is pretty hard to get it on weekend nights because they are so busy.
Try this place out for yourself. I will honestly think twice about what reviews I read online from here forward. You can't trust everything you see.
Thank you for your review and your honesty! We at the Nile appreciate your review and are glad that you are a regular to our business.
We do apologize for the fact we don't take reservations as we do get pretty busy early on in the night. We are looking at solutions to address this and to make it easier getting in on the weekends.
We were really treated rudely. What is “authentic” about this place? The tobacco is the same make as other local vendors. The food is out-sourced. The design scheme has authentic qualities but no different from Tangierinos and or Sheesha Lounge – red color – pillows etc. The reason for the bad review is the vibe of the place and the service. The vibe is filled with obnoxious, rude, arrogant male dominated clientele – Some girlfriends and I recently came here and found ourselves uncomfortable with a group of men seated next to us making annoying comments. The owner/manager & staff did not seem to care or feel they had to manage the situation. The wait staff was far from accommodating and all in all it was an “Authentically” bad experience.
The service was terrible. I drove here from Quincy last week and just recently got my car back! This place is a complete nightmare to find parking and was not worth the trip. I parked near this place and was told that I would be fine and that they do not ticket/tow. I descended into their spot and found myself suffocating in this small space. It was overcrowded, and there was no escape from the combined flavors of other peoples pipes, which detracted from my own flavored choice; the ceiling is way to low to accommodate the number of Hookahs they had out. The Baklava was dry, and overpriced. Already annoyed, I exited at around midnight to find my car gone! First and last time I visit this place.
Worst night in a long time. I was really disappointed. At first we were really excited, as it looked really cool, but we were really treated rudely to the point where we just paid our bill and went elsewhere. We had a good time at a dive up the street.
Waitress was rude beyond words. Went here with a group of friends and had the worst night in a long time. The service was terrible and the waitress was rude beyond words. The food and tea cold and the sheesha was not tended.
smoke is not flavorful. Basically this place is a Clusterf*ck Symphony #2 in FU minor! There really was no point in coming here to relax; the vibe was way off. The atmosphere was dense unlike the smoke.
LOVE Nile Lounge!. This place is awesome.. The hookah is great, big selection, you can smoke and have a conversation here so it's nice to go and rewind for those that miss smoking while sitting down socialising. The waitresses are all gorgeous and the atmosphere is friendly. The only set back is that it fills up quickly. A lot of times, especially on the weekends, you won't be able to sit and you'll have to wait if you want to. There's no host, you pretty much sit yourself. The ambiance is great def a recommendation to any tourists visiting Boston or people wanting a fun experience.
Amazing smoking experience at this shisha cafe. A large group and I went here last month. It's not often that everybody in the group is completely satisfied. However, everybody loved this place! The atmosphere was refreshing and uplifting, the service was exceptional, and most importantly, the smoke was exquisite. I highly recommend the Super Lemon. Tall, tangle-free and fresh hookahs with rich shisha flavor in a clean and tidy cafe, perfect for good conversation with friends!
Brighton hookah bar enables patrons to enjoy flavored tobaccos in a laid-back lounge setting..
While it lacks the rugs, silk curtains, and belly dancers one might expect of a hookah lounge, Nile Lounge has all the comfortable couches and chairs one might need to partake of its giant hookahs. College students and young adults come to smoke an astonishing array of tobaccos with flavors such as plum, lemon, apple, and mint. Snacks such as pita and hummus, chips and salsa, and fried Oreos are also available.
