The Course
Each hole on this Mark Mungeam-designed course (host to the New England PGA), provides a unique challenge, through length, guile or sheer nastiness. Whether the scenery is dense woods or colorful marshlands, keep your mind on your game.
The Experience
You won't find a better way to start a round of golf than with a snack and bottle of spring water on the house, and a cart full of luxuries (like ball washers, club cleaners and tees). The course's motto is "Enjoy the Experience." And from the start, it's hard not to. That said, be careful hitting into the wetlands--it'll cost you a stroke. Also, exercise caution on No. 13, a dogleg-left, par 4. You can cut the corner, but your landing area is no more than 10 to 12 yards wide. Regarding the signature hole, the par-3 11th plays 210 yards from a rock outcropping to a plateau green. There's a bailout area on the right, but hit it left and you're lying two.
