The best!. Lotus never disappoints! I've been going here for the last two and a half years. Whenever i feel stressed out or return from one of my too-frequent trips abroad, i want to treat myself to a mud soak and a massage. The back scrub is a must.

This is the best place for massage, the staff is always on point and have friendly personalities.

I might give the eyelash extensions a try for a special occasion, it's not really my thing but i keep hearing other clients raving about it.

This is the place to get a brazilian wax!. I'm not one to write reviews but this place deserved mine! I work near the area and have been getting brazilians for several years now. My last place has just become too inconvenient because they moved to a further location in Newton. Anyhow, I called to see if they had a same day opening for a brazilian and was fortunate to get one. I thought I'd experienced them all (hot, cold, soft, strip, hard) and since I'm not a newbie at this, I expected to be subjected to all kinds of positions - on my side with one leg lifted or bent, on all fours, while I pull and tug at my skin on all different directions. I was armed with the experience and expected to be put to work. Well, my experience at Lotus was none of that! As you arrive, you are greeted warmly, escorted to your room, instructed to undress from the waist down, and to drape with a towel. My esthetician used a lavender hard wax which felt nice and warm (not hot as most places have it). It lasted for merely 20 or so minutes, which was pretty quick and easy in my book, and the only effort I placed was when she asked me to hug my knees when she needed to access my backside (yup this is part of a brazilian). Before I knew it, she was cleaning up the wax residue. I asked her if I needed to shift positions, she goes "no you're all set!". Really? No side lying, face down with lifted leg and certainly not on all my fours (which she admitted was strange that other places ask clients to do this). When I checked down there, it was super clean! I am very happy with the job! I also almost fell asleep it actually was relaxing. I decided to sign up for a membership so it costs me only $36 bucks every time I get it done.

affordable, clean and nice place. As a fitness model, I spend a huge chunk of money on lashes, nails, spray tanning, peels, facials, waxings. I got tired of doing my own lashes, as they never look right whenever I do them. A friend suggested I try Lotus since they do it and its one of the few places that don't charge an arm and a leg. I was so happy to find them. I got this cute korean lady who has been doing lashes way before it got popular here in the US. She is really experienced and quick! I got really nice minks, they feel really soft (unlike the usual hard thick synthetics). I also didn't pay alot for them.

really nice. I got a $100 gift card to this place and held on to it forever (I think I got it 2 years ago!). It resurfaced amidst all my junk so I decided to use it. What a treat! I ended up getting a 3 month membership, a full hour massage and a manicure! Yay, all for $100. The services were awesome- I fell asleep on both services, it was serene and very clean. Very high quality place- not your run of the mill place. Prices can't be beat!

Very nice staff and beautiful place. I come here often to get massages, facials and waxings either alone or with my girlfriends. The staff is very welcoming and very good at what they do. We all had Lisa and Vivienne for our facials and all of us loved our facials. The massages were also really awesome. The place is also so chic and fresh, a change from all the old victorian style spas on Newbury street. Love this place!

great experience!. My boyfriend surprised me on v-day with a massage from Lotus. Knowing how stressed out I always am, a massage was exactly what I needed. From start to finish, my experience was really excellent. I was running a few minutes late and expected to be shuttled to the changing room and slapped on the bed because it was a super busy weekend for them. But I was greeted by a very pleasant front desk who calmly took me to the locker room to change. I got the best massage ever! I didn't feel rushed and was so relaxed I didn't want to leave.

really nice!. I received a gift card to Lotus and had a massage, facial and brow wax. I had a really nice experience. The massage was wonderful and the facial and brow wax was the best I'd had. Everyone from the front desk to my massage therapist and facial person were all so nice. Prices are also cheaper than many spas in the area. I highly recommend this place!

This place rocks!. I was in Needham visiting my folks and needed a facial so badly. I had been battling a bad breakout for weeks so I decided to try Lotus. This place is super nice inside, it feels like it should be in Boston or Miami instead of Needham. My esthetician gave me the best facial I ever had! Best part, their spa memberships are awesome. For only $120 I get to go as many times as I want for a year and get 40% off everything PLUS products! So yea I paid the $120 but I had a facial, a brow and a lip wax for $69 bucks! Next time I'll try other stuff and get a mani/pedi. I was so excited, I got my mom one too. Now she can stop nagging me that I don't see her often.

Amazing place!!. 5 of my girlfriends and I decided to have a spa day for my friend, Jane's birthday, and the experience was amazing! We were greeted by a spa attendant at Lotus and when we walked in. We were then changed into our comfy robes and slippers. =) We were at the spa from 10-2PM (b/c there were 6 of us). The whole time we were having an awesome girls spa day that the time went by extremely fast. Since there were so many of us, some of us started on the facial and massage and the others got to wait in the quiet, zen room where fruit platter and mimosas were served. There is even a pool of bubble for our foot! Vyvy did my facial and she's wonderful and I would highly recommend her. She takes her time and knows so much about the products that she used on my face. They also started a membership program that we bought and we were able to get all of our services for 40% off! It really was an amazing deal!! I would definetly go back again.

P.S. Catherine, the owner, even came around after our services and introduce herself to all of us. Couldn't ask for better service! =)
