“Overall i would definitely recommend going their for an original gift plus nice sales people”
Very cute, like nothing i've ever seen.
I visited this store once not knowing what to expect, I walked in and it seemed nice enough, i was greeted kindly by a lovely girl and she helped me pick out the perfect gift for my nephew.
The toys for kids their are wonderful and plus the other memorable items are nice as well, especially the funny greetings cards they have for sale
Overall i would definitely recommend going their for an original gift plus nice sales people
Thanks!
Snobby Sales People. As a resident in the area, I was excited that a small gift shop opened. They have a little of everything from cards, gifts, foods and toys. Right near the Starbucks, I would often pop in with my daughter. They seemed just Okay, but slighlty annoyed everytime I was in the store. My daughter is very well behaved (in fact I would carry her so not to touch any breakables) and I would often purchase something before leaving. She would play in the toy area though. Last time I went in, the staff (I think owner) was plain rude and I left feeling very uncomfortable. I also called once to see what time they closed in hopes of picking up a last minute gift. They said, "5:00" on the phone. So I zipped over to arrive at 4:45 and they door was locked. I looked in and the women at the counter just shook her head, like, "Closed". So annoying! When I go to Starbucks now, my daughter goes to the door and wants to go in. I tell her "we no longer shop there", and we do not enter.. Overall a great location so I was sad when I realized they were giving into the Brookline/Chestnut Hill Snobby stereotype (which is not true for the overall community, but for this store, SO TRUE), Not interested in buying from them, to bad. I really tried to like it.
