Awful nail services.... I went to Hair in Motion with 2 friends to get manicures/pedicures after a stressful week. This is honestly the most terrible nail experience I have ever had. During my pedicure, the new employee cut my cuticles down so far they were bleeding. I winced in pain as she had to apply alcohol to both of my big toes. Although her colleague reprimanded her, she didn't seem to notice that this was a problem. She also dropped a tool which she promptly picked up and continued to use. There was hair all over the floor as this is also a hair salon that was never sweeped after the last client. The tub was barely rinsed between us and certainly not after us. I was disgusted. My french manicure was extremely rushed and the more experienced colleague had to do the manicure as the new employee didn't seem to know how. I don't understand how someone can be hired to perform nail services and be taught on the job. I could have received more professional services at a beauty school and saved myself money and trauma. The table also had a dirty towel over it with short hairs all over the surface. Once completed, they couldn't get us out the door sooner (it was closing time). In fact, the two of them put on our coats, socks, and shoes on the three of us despite the fact that our fingers and toes were not yet dry. I immediately smudged my nail as I left and my friend had ruined her pedicure because it was still wet. I wish I had something good to say about them, but this was a stressful, painful, unhygienic, unpleasant experience that quite honestly put a damper on my entire weekend.
