Brazilian Keratin. After much research I chose Giraud Studio because my friend had done it with Omar and raved about his expertise. It was great becuase they had three to chose from, Bio Ionic, Simply Smooth, and Marcia Texiera, all on thier website. Results are amazing. I spent $350 to get the brazilian keratin (marcia texiera) and that included shampoo, conditioner, and a long list of do's and dont's from the guru. Not a straightener but a smoother and defrizzer!! Worth every penny and all the time

This salon changed my life!. Before my trip to Giraud Studio my hair was unmanageble, frizzy, and a complete mess. I was referred to Giraud by a friend whom also got the smoothing done. I called and made an appointment to speak to Omar first befor getting the treatment and the receptionist was more then helpful! She got me in the first appointment available. While at the salon I also spoke to Joanna about color. I made an appointment for the service all in one day. The best part was I got my color done the same day! When I was finished my hair was beautifully smooth, shiny, and felt the healthiest it has ever been! The color was more then perfect and the cut complimented my face just right. Everyone at the salon from the receptionist to the assistant was so pleasant and made sure my every need was met! I know that I will be back for all my services all the time. I am from NH and the two hour drive was well worth it! Trust me try this salon you will NOT regret it!

Great Find.
Its so hard to find a great hairdresser who can do it all
from color to cut.Joanna is great she can tell by looking at you what is the best cut and i have never had a better
color. What i find i could not be happier .

Family with good hair. Joanne seems to have an endless supply of good humor and knows how to meet each client's needs...even the fussy ones (not ME, of course!!). She is a master colourist but still (after all these years) seems to take joy in each creation....good hair, good cut, good style.....I once offered to be her assistant just to get to figure it out.....not just the hair but the person! I can recommend Giraurd Studio unequivocally. You will not be disappointed....

The Best of Boston and Beyond. Joanna is the best in the colorist's world. The salon is pleasant and fun. Being able to do my own color touch-up between vists is a fabulous bonus that will never been found anywhere else!!!

First class!. I have extremely thick hair and recently had the Bioionics straightening done. I feel like I have a new head of hair! Omar has traveled around the world teaching this process and it shows. He is so professional and his work is unbelievable. I can't believe I didn't have this done sooner. If you are looking for a professional, first class salon with a great staff, Giraud Studio is the one for you! A Boston salon right in your neighborhood!

Since there are already many great (& accurate!) reviews here so far, I can only add what Giraud Studio's clients already know - this is the best hair care experience you will have, bar none - including Boston. You absolutely will love the way you look at the end of your session and I promise you will get compliments/ inquiries about where you got the great cut/color. Take your mirror outside and you'll see what they're talking about. The gorgeous color, shine and natural looking highlights come from Joanna's years of training by professionals at the top of their game. Add to that Joanna's instinctive artistic eye towards beauty and her thoughtful, considerate attention to each client's desires and you'll see why everyone is so eager to write a positive review here. Hair color by Joanna, a superb haircut by Omar (a cut which, by the way, continues to look fantastic weeks later!!!) and you'll be writing your own five-star review.
Oh, did I mention that the entire staff and owners are just a pleasure to spend a day of beauty with?

Hip in Hamilton.
Giraud salon is a gem 35 minutes from Boston. Joanna, Omar and the rest of the staff is so warm, friendly and professional.
I followed Joanna from Newbury St. to Hamilton because no one can do the job that she does. Everyone comments on the natural look of my color. The best part is that Joanna gives me take home color to touch up my roots in between times. Not only does this extend my appointment, but it saves me time and money. I'd never go anywhere else.
