Best Burger I've EVER EATEN. After drooling over seeing the burger bar on Phantom Gourmet, my boyfriend and I immediately made the decision to try this place for dinner. We sat at the burger bar, which was fun because we could chat with other people while waiting for our food. The burger selection is amazing - you can literally get ANYTHING on your burger. My boyfriend got the Vermont Burger which had bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and...yes...a FRIED EGG. It was pretty incredible. I got the All-American Burger with bacon, cheese, and mayo. I could not get over how JUICY AND DELICIOUS this burger was! I was in complete heaven the entire time eating it. Best burger either of us had ever eaten - it was so perfect. We also ordered onion rings which were equally amazing. For the rest of my life, I will be comparing every burger I eat to this place and I know nothing will ever equal the burger I ate here. HIGHLY recommended...GO GO GO! :)

A bad first impression and poor value for the price. After a relatively disappointing visit to their sister steakhouse in Chestnut Hill, we were a bit hesitant to try this offshoot at The Natick Collection. Perhaps we should have listened to that instinct.

Our meal started off well enough. We ordered two creative and well prepared cocktails, a martini and a prickly pear margarita. Our appetizer, an eggroll-inspired steak and cheese concoction was interesting and tasty, if a little bit on the greasy side. Because of our beefy first course, I opted for something with a lower cow content for my meal. With our server's encouragement, I ordered the lasagna, even with the $19 price tag. My partner ordered a green salad with grilled chicken, which also cost a steep $19. (For some perspective, we are accustomed to $150-$200 meals at some of the better steakhouses in Boston. The prices here don't fit the casual mall setting. Even if you call that mall a "collection.") I could tell, even before the first bite, that something was wrong with my lasagna. After a frantic search with my fork, I realized that there was no pasta in my lasagna. None. I had just settled in for a big bowl of sauce and cheese. Once I got the waiter's attention (not soon enough, by the way), he confirmed that my meal was, in fact, noodleless. Although he offered me another meal, by this time, my partner had nearly finished his. I declined the replacement meal. When the check arrived, my entree had been comped, but I still faced a $50+ check for two drinks, an appetizer, and the privilege of watching my partner dine alone while I ate nothing.

Dining out is more than putting food in one's mouth to stave off hunger. It's an evening out, enjoying a meal together. (Emphasis on "together.") The manager didn't seem to understand why the meal was an unmitigated failure. In his mind, offering a replacement meal was enough.

We won't be back. And we wouldn't recommend a visit, in good conscience, for anything more than a cocktail and maybe an appetizer.

Editorial Review. Casual upscale restaurant builds on the original Chestnut Hill location's success, complete with a burger bar, lounge area and outdoor terrace.
