view & uploadInteractive & personal cooking experience. I have completed 2 classes and both were extraordinary experiences. Once it was with Barbara Lynch and the second time with the Chef de Cuisine of Butcher Shop. You are one of 8 sitting around a chef's station. It is part conversation, part instruction and a foodie's fantasy. There are usually 3 courses including wine pairings and sometimes an extra course thrown in for fun. There is a theme for the evening or a cookbook that is used. Once I got a cookbook to take home and the other time I did not. Classes can be booked in advance via the website but the best thing is to get on the mailing list. When new classes are announced, book quickly because classes fill up. On both occasions, I learned quite a lot about the ingredients, sources for the dish, and the wines being served. They use the highest quality ingredients and the results are amazing. I look forward to another class!!
