“The Rice ballls were tasty and enough for two people to share.”
“The portions are HUGE.”
Horrible service. We stopped by before a concert for apps and drinks. After waiting 30 minutes for service, the hostess returned to our table to ask if we were having dinner. When we said we hadn't been served but only had time for cocktails because of the delay, we were told we had to give up our table because there were other patrons who wanted to eat dinner. We will never return.
Superb!. I love this place! The customer service, drinks, food, atmosphere. I have yet to taste a dish I do not like!
great food.
right down my alley, and walking distance from my condo. great food, great staff, i recommend this place.
try it out.
Delicious!!. I saw Salvatore's on Phantom Gourmet and had to try it. I absolutely loved it!! The Rice ballls were tasty and enough for two people to share. The Chicken Saltimboca was delicious and it came with loads of yummy pasta. The portions are HUGE. So big I could barely finish half of it. The decor is classy and stylish. Great for a date. I have already recommeded this restaurant to many people!
Stay in the North End. If this is an example of what is to come in the Seaport area, then nobody will ever leave the North End for Italian food. It almost makes Olive Garden seem like an Italian restaurant. Most of the dishes are "gummy" and sweet. The marsala had almost no mushrooms and the sauce tasted like it was loaded with sugar. The pasta is not cooked al dente, etc. It is not worth the trek to such an isolated area of the waterfront. Also, the dining room is small and crowded. The waiter was great, but it did not compensate for the food.
Mmmm; Will definitely be coming back!. The four of us went to Salvatore's last night. We had a reservation and were seated right away outside. The view is nothing to look at. It's a demolished building but who cares. The food is what's great here! I got the chicken saltimbocca and it was fantastic. The homemade pasta (at least I thought it was homemade b/c it's that good) is plentiful as a side. The prices are a bit steep but I think it's worth it. The bar is beautiful if you have to wait to be seated. The staff is really friendly. I will definitely be returning again.
