Nearly everything is about 70% overpriced. There certainly are some interesting pieces that are indeed one of a kind; however, there are equally as many items that are not. I've visited the shop on more than one occasion and leave feeling uneasy. I worry that people who shop here may not do their homework and may be swindled by the owner's misrepresentation that her inventory is highly valuable...much of it is not.

The most challenging part about shopping here is that the owner can be quite off putting in her demeanor. Her commentary is non-stop from the time you walk in and it's simply not a helpful interaction. There is no happy-medium.

There are certainly other stores in and outside of New England where you can find similar or the same high quality jewelry from a variety of time periods that are represented more accurately in their value and rarity....not to mention overall better customer service and professionalism from a small business owner.

This was the email I received from Donna after posting the review: "You really are a piece of work. Take my hint and f__k off!!" I understand business is personal, but is this who you want to give your money to? I haven't observed such a reaction or choice of words from any other business on reviews.
