Dirt, Salt & Fat. I stopped by Blue Ribbon BBQ HQ to check it out. A putrid smell overwhelmed my senses as I approached the door. I was confronted by some youths who were drinking beer and cursing as they loaded their trucks with boxes. I was rudely informed to set an appointment to see the operation, but was allowed into the kitchen. There were empty boxes and trash strewn about. I tried a sample of ribs and chicken- way too salty and fatty for my taste. I know BBQ- this place is a hoax. There are some genuine BBQ joints in Boston- Blue Ribbon is not one of them.
