I second that! William is the best!. William at W Salon is the best! He specializes in African American hair but is capable of styling all types of hair. He does a fantastic color, his relaxers are the best, and he'll work with you on a cut that fits your needs. I always look forward to my appointments and my daughters consider it a treat to see William! I recently transitioned my hair out of a relaxer to my naturally curly hair and he supported me the entire way making the transition easy peasy and keeping me looking great the entire time.

If weaves are your thing he also has several clients who get that service and you would never know it - he makes the hair look like it grew out of their scalp! The new stylist that started there recently is also excellent and does a fantastic job as well.

I would highly recommend you book in advance if you've never been. Most of his clients book a year's worth of appointments in advance. The place is small but the service is big!

As for the earlier review - up until recently he has been a one man operation and does sometimes have to reschedule appointments. Your patience and understanding will be rewarded!

William is the best. W Salon is the best salon, ever. I've been twice and i never have to look for another stylist again. i'm only going to William from now on. We have great conversation, it's a cute small place, he does amazing work, and i look forward to my next visit.

avoid it every day!. after waiting on an actual appointment (I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance) It was canceled with no explanation at all, and the person (not William himself) could not give an explanation on why. I explained to this person ...(I'm assuming it was his receptionist ) that I took the entire day off from work...the only answer that I recieved was "well he just will not be here...." The salon it self is very small and he is the only hairdresser there..so if you want a small cramped place and are willing to waste an entire day....

Then this salon is the place for you!
