Befitting its location in the chic Nine Zero Hotel, KO Prime's lounge attracts the trendy set to swill designer cocktails. The dining room, chock full of faux cow skins and brown and red hues, hosts an assortment of power brokers and wealthy hotel guests. Sit back and let the attentive servers describe the nuances of purple Okinawa sweet potato. The extensive wine list presents an impressive, and pricey, collection of varietals. With its adventurous ingredients and presentations, KO Prime's bold, aggressive menu defies simple categorization. Crisp "McNuggets" made from veal sweetbreads? Sinfully rich bone marrow with oxtail marmalade? Tender Kobe flat iron steak with romesco sauce? Check, check and check. Much attention is made, and deservedly so, of the astromically-priced Wagyu beef. Priced prettily by the ounce, the meltingly luxurious meat, served as a sliced NY strip, is a carnivore's dream.

KO Prime has done everything right! Great food and great service. Chef Jamie Bissonnette's take on a new high end steak house is fantastic. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the short rib mac and cheese is to die for and the mushrooms are the best in the city! Good thing i didn't listen to any of the reviews below, obviously they were done by people that either never eat out, never worked in a restaurant on have no taste buds.

A friend of mine and his son were traveling on business and had dinner there last night..seems the dining clientele was bit unbalanced, so to speak, as far as the age difference in male and female couples..these two guys felt like they had been given some kind of drug as after dinner felt so drugged they ha\dd to go back to their hotel and have a nap..after relating what the experience was ...could there be some coneciton with men who travel and waiters who push more drinks on the male clientele...me thinketh , there is a correlation..anyone else have that experience?

Never been more disappointed at a so called "high end" steak house. Sure, the place was pricey but we all new that and expected to get what we pay for. But boy, were we wrong. Went with a party of five to celebrate a birthday and none of us were impressed. Steak was dry and overcooked and when the waiter was informed, they brought out a little flashlight and hunched over my shoulder to examine it at our table...how LOW CLASS!! I mean I felt like I was getting a PAP smear at the table!! All the apetizers and side dishes were nothing fantastic, not to mention our rissotto was RAW with crunchy rice grain....Our lobster was also overcooked (tough and chewy). I mean, come on, does Mr. Ken Oringer have any clues what's going on at this place? I can't imagine he does, he should be EMBARASSED to have his name associated with this place!!
