Celebrity Chef Michael Schlow (Via Matta, Radius) serves casual Italian fare with a gourmet touch in Wellesley Center.. Brick walls and bare wood floors create a warm and casual atmosphere in the space formely held by Figs. Suburban families pour over a menu of small plates and lighter fare that is ripe with seasonal and regional ingredients. Spicy marinated carrots, house-made ricotta and roasted zucchini with lemon and mint are just a few of the antipasti on offer. Thin-crust pizzas (toppings include spicy broccoli rabe and San Danielle proscuitto), gourmet salads and homemade pastas round out the menu.
