Cherisse is the best!!!. I have been going to Cherrisse since I moved to Boston 7 years ago. I would follow her anywhere, though luckily she is at a super-cute day spa called Spa Christine. I tend to wake up too late to style my hair most days, but the haircuts Cherrisse gives me are so amazing that my hair looks great anyway. (for weeks too). Most stylists could not figure out a way to control all my cowlicks, but Cherrisse is the best! She gives such great shape to my hair. She will give suggestions or pros and cons of the styles I like upon request, but she is never pushy. And Cherrisse can do anything--I have had so many styles from long to really, really short. Going to get my hair cut is such a relaxing treat--and very reasonably priced too. I highly recommend Cherrisse to anyone, with any kind of hair.

Lori is the best aesthetician!. Lori is the best! I have been getting facials from her for over two years and she always does an amazing job. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her! Not only does you skin look great, you leave feeling very relaxed. Whenever I get compliments on my skin - I know that I owe it to Lori!

Best Spa in town!. I have been going to Lori for my waxings for years. She is the best aesthetician out there. I wouldn't think about going to anyone else! The atmosphere is great. The people there are friendly! It's a great place to relax!

Best Spa Services in Boston. I moved to Boston 7 years ago. Of course went straight to Newbury Street for my spa services. What a disappointment...4 different salons later. Then I found Spa Christine. Not only is the salon beautiful and friendly, but they offer the best services in all of Boston. Cherisse is an unbelievable stylist and Lori gives the best facial and waxing. True professionals and great people. I won't go anywhere else.

Great Day Spa!. Had a great experience at this spa. It is beautiful inside. The boutique offered many different items and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

best bikini wax. I started going to Spa Christine back in December because I was curious about bikini waxing. From the get go Sonia was understanding of my newness to the art of bikini waxing, and she made me feel much more comfortable about the whole process. I was given a disposable panty to wear, and she worked inwards according to what I felt ok with and if I was in any pain. She is great for first timers because each step leaves off in a way that will not leave you lop-sided if you can't do anymore. The fact is, her method and the wax that she uses is so painless that I was able to do the full bikini wax the first time I went.. The conversation during the whole process is never awkward - she's such an interesting, funny person and very easy to get along with. You can tell that she is able to read into what you are comfortable with having done. I keep going back, and I even got a Brazilian wax the last time I went!

Spa Christine is Wonderful!. I was so pleased to hear that a new Spa opened in Southie. I have had the worst luck trying to find a good and reasonably priced stylist until now. I felt so comfortable with my stylist, had a nice glass of tea (french-pressed) and got the best haircut I've had in years (and a quick massage afterwards).

For all of you who live in (and love) Southie, please give this Spa a try! We need to support our Southie businesses so that we make Southie the best place to be in Boston!

Thank you Citysearch! I found a gem!. I am new to South Boston (and Mass.) - I moved here from Chicago in September for work. I originally thought I would just get my hair done when I go home to visit, but it hasn't been working out - so I had to find a stylist in Boston. I came to the Citysearch website to find a new stylist in my neighborhood and was very impressed with the reviews for Spa Christine and made my appointment with Cherrisse, the senior stylist for a cut and color. I was scared, as I have gone to the same stylist since I was 16.

Well (I hope that my Chicago stylist never sees this...), I never knew that my hair could look this good! The cut that she gave me is totally flattering and I feel like a new woman! I always paid a fortune for hi-lights and low-lights and a single process color ($250 every 6 weeks!) and she explained to me that I only needed hi-lights over my natural color and it looks great.

I feel like Cherrisse's top priority was making me look my very best and she was not thinking about how to make the most money on me. I appreciate her honesty and integrity (and, of course, her talent!)

Great Experience....not what you would think of a southie spa!. Great Experience....not what you would think of a Southie spa!

I had Larry the owner and head stylist, a couple weeks back and he was amazing, actually the whole experience was amazing. A friend recommended the place and she wasn?t lying when she said it?s not what you would think of a spa in Southie. The building it?s self is amazing with extremely open floor plan. They treat you wonderfully offering you anything from coffee to a glass of wine. I had a double process color and style and loved everything about it. My friends couldn?t believe that I left my previous Newberry solon to try out Spa Christine but trust me when I say the result and complete experience was superior to anything I?ve every gotten on Newberry St.
