WORST 'SPA' (YA RIGHT:) EVER!!!!!. I've lived in NY, Florida, Vermont, and now MA. I have a lot of good friends in the business, some of which own their own salons. I am not snotty, or snobby. I have to say out of all the salons I have EVER been to, this one takes the cake on WORST EVER.

I had an issue and was told by the Assistant Manager "Too Bad." I asked to speak to the Owner Martha, and was told she couldn't be given a message and would be in until Tuesday which was 3 days away. I paid A LOT of money for my services, which was a hair cut and color, and was treated horribly. The details are too long to give. All I can say is save you money, your time, and patience, and run far and fast from this salon!!!!

Great highlights. I've been going to Nicole for well over a year now and she is fantastic. She does the best, most natural highlights, and at a very reasonable price (good haircuts too!). I've also had good facials and messages at Element, but Nicole's highlights are the reason I keep going back (even though I don't live locally anymore). Be sure to try the tea they offer you. So yummy!

Inviting little spa in Charlestown. I randomly passed this little place's awning while driving, its right on Main St. in Charlestown, next to the Warren Tavern, and since I am a fan of the aveda line, had to check it out. A couple of days later I called for a last minute waxing appointment; receptionist was super friendly, and was able to get me right in that afternoon.

Gina, my esthetician, made me feel comftorable immediatley (as I'm sure you know, gettng a Brazilian can be quite awkward)...she was great! I felt totally at ease...and it was relatively quick and painless.

They sell the complete line of Aveda products, which was a bonus b/c I happened to be looking for a specific stocking stuffer. Cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Amazing overall experience. I got my hair done by Kristen and have never been more satisfied, she is just amazing. I got a full foil color and i can not get over how good it came out. I also recommended her to a friend of mine and her hair came out fabulous.

Excellent Salon!. I have had two haircuts at Element so far, and have been very happy to say that I have not had bad hair days since! I have thick hair that is very tiresome to cut - but Christy just does a great job with it.

I have also had threading performed by Anita, and have been happy with her as well.

I highly recommend this salon!!
