The Upper Crust Pizzeria was founded Five years ago with its original location in Boston's Beacon Hill. The Founder, Jordan Tobins, took the simple concept of traditional Neapolitan-style pizza (thin crust, chunky sauce) and brought it to an urban setting. You can come in and sit with friends in the uniquely designed dining room, enjoy a specialty pizza, and watch your favorite team on their HDTV screen. If you're on the go, call ahead for take-out (allow 20-25 minutes) or just pop in for a slice. That's right- for all you New Yorkers; we sell pizza by the slice. Now, if you're just…

In Short – Unlike the Boston and Brookline locations of this laid-back, upscale pizza spot, the Hingham location has a full liquor license and small bar area. Creative diners mix and match from an endless variety of gourmet toppings (arugula, baby clams, Canadian bacon), and the menu suggests several tantalizing combinations. Other menu items include gooey calzones and fresh Greek and Caesar salads. – –
Pizza By the Slice, IN MA!!!!

I started going to the Upper Crust in Hingham when I moved there several years ago, and I couldn't be happier with the service or quality of food. You get what you pay for, and at the Upper Crust, the ingredients really are top-notch. Whether its the hand-made dough, chunky tomatoe sauce, or fresh salads, everyone always leaves happy. The store can get a little hectic at peak times, and that's why their call-ahead and delivery services can be so great. However busy it gets, though, the pizza is always delivered with a smile and the personal care that you just don't get at bigger chain-style restaurants.
All in all, the Upper Crust Hingham is a great experience- well worth the price, and I highly reccomend it. Two thumbs up!
- Pros: Pizza by the slice, free delivery, in-store atmosphere
- Cons: Inside could be more spacious, no alcohol
Too pricey for takeout
by tenajr at Citysearch
On a hot summer night after boating in the harbor we decided on takeout pizza for dinner. We ordered three small pizza's with one topping each and a large cheese pizza. We were a bit shocked on the total charge of $55.00 YIKES FOR TAKEOUT PIZZA ??? I would have gone to a sit down establishment and enjoyed being waited on for that price... We've eaten pricey pizza before but to us this was not worth the money....
- Pros: if our pizza was hot the flavor seemed to be fairly good
- Cons: prices ouch - for pizza it's crazy -
Best Pizza in the South Shore

The quality of the toppings are great. Everything is so fresh. Great place for families with kids, if you go on the early side. No liquor license, just softdrinks.
