Best Wine, Food, & Atmosphere!!!. I love this place because the food is amazing and the service was so accomodating! Our party of 4 didn't know what we wanted because it all looked so good so the chef prepared a sampling of different appetizers that were all delcious, especially the duck spring rolls and mussels. For entrees we enjoyed the lamb osso bucco - it fell of the bone it was so tender - the gnocchi was handmade and awesome, and 2 of us had the filet mignon (cooked perfectly). The vibe is hip yet relaxed, not stuffy and pretentious. I would sit in the bar to watch the game on Sunday and for a date on Fri. or Sat. for dinner. Well done!!

Fabulous Food!. I tired Vintage Lounge for the first time the other night after seeing their Restaurant Week menu. I was extremely pleased with the food, the wine, and the service. They served a crab cake for a first course that was amazing! My server was great ? she was very attentive, answered my questions and recommended a great bottle of Cabernet. I am so happy that we tried this restaurant and will definitely be back again.
Great Food, Drinks and Service. Work in the area and first went to Vintage for a work event that my company sponsored. We were a large group and their staff did a great job accommodating us. The manager was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was great and service was great. Many of my co-workers had some of their specialty drinks and were very pleased. I will definitely be back to try this place for dinner.
It doesn't work. I really wanted VL to work - It's nearby where I live and work, it's small so I figured it would be inviting. I tried and I tried again. It doesn't work. Most of the time it's pretty empty - so if you go, bring your own entertainment. Although some of the bartenders are friendly (meaning they don't act put-out when you order a drink), the cocktail server I had most recently acted extremely haughty - an attitude shared by the manager. So if you are looking for atmosphere, this isn't the place.
Rude Staff. Went in there for a birthday party and was treated like they were doing us a favor by pouring drinks. Waste of time and money.
Best drink list!. Checked this place out with some friends for the first time last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised! Finally a place in Boston to grab some great drinks and a bite to eat while lounging! We tried a few drinks on the menu and chatted with the bartender for awhile. We had great service. Our evening was very enjoyable. We went on a weekend night - given the location I would imagine they have a good after work scene. We will be back to check it out again for sure.
Great Experience. I have been a handful of times and think this place is great. The staff is attentive and the bartender not only remembered me from the last time I was in but also remembered the drinks of some other people who walked in that seemed like regulars. They make a great Espresso Martini and the bar menu is awesome! I recommend this place to people all the time. What stood out during my last visit was a group walked in seconds after the kitchen had closed but the manager accomdated them anyways - says alot about the place. I have been to so many places in this city where an accomdating atmosphere is lacking so having a place like this is great.
Don't Bother. The Vintage Lounge is a small restaurant/bar tucked away in the Financial District. The drink menu is trendy but if you make the mistake of going more than once, you'll find that they are made very inconsistently (what was once smooth is now sour and pungent, etc.)- On my last (and I do mean LAST) visit, some of the staff were extremely rude and adolescent (I actually witnessed the manager having a temper tantrum!). It was strange because when they first opened I thought they had a good concept but now that I have gone back I am very disappointed. The ambiance is non-existent and their attempt at contemporary decor is sad and tired. Even though I live a block away I will not be bothering with another trip.
Awesome drinks, food, service!. I work in the financial district and finally checked out Vintage. This place is great!! The drinks were delicious and the food was just as good. The bartenders were very friendly and outgoing. We stayed for hours longer than expected because we loved the vibe. We ordered dinner in the lounge and had a great meal. There are so many new places that have opened in the Financial District and this is by far my favorite! I plan to check it out for lunch soon - the menu looks great!
