Boston >Vintage Lounge
“Best Of both worlds- Great food in a romantic dining room, Great drinks in a chic lounge”
“They served a crab cake for a first course that was amazing!”
“Finally a place in Boston to grab some great drinks and a bite to eat while lounging!”
“They served a crab cake for a first course that was amazing!”
“The food is delicious yet the real treat at Vintage was the extensive wine list.”
“Okay, so somebody beat me to it and said it is the best new restaurant in Boston, but I'm going to repeat it so I can emphasize it some more!”
“We had great service.”
“really good value.”
“The bartenders were rude and took much to long to get my order, with the bar area not being busy at all.”
Must Try!. I checked out Vintage Lounge last week for the first time and I loved it! I went after work and they had a good crowd. The wine list is priced really well. The bartender was very helpful and made recommendations. We had appetizers in the lounge ? Calamari is awesome! We decided to stay for dinner and everyone I was with had a great meal. The place is really beautiful inside and the service and food were also on par. I will definitely be back soon!
Overrated, with unfriendly service.. I live in the North End and have been reading all the rave reviews so I had to check it out and boy was I disappointed. The bartenders were rude and took much to long to get my order, with the bar area not being busy at all. We were then sat at our table and waited at least 15 minutes before our waitress returned. The food was average but the price was far above average. Not quiet sure why their is so much buzz I am sure not to return there are plenty of more relaxing type lounges now in the Financial district to choose from.
Excellent Service. I've been to Vintage Lounge pretty much weekly since it's opening, and I've always been impressed. The bar staff is incredible, they remembered my name and drink the second time I came in and make an excellent martini, service is over the top. The dinner menu is very good, with the lamb standing out. On the weekend nights it gets pretty busy in the main room, with a second bar that is quieter if you're looking to relax. I highly recommend visiting.
What the Financial Distict Needs!!. I have been to Vintage Lounge a few times ? this place is great! I work in that area and this is exactly what the Financial District was in desperate need of ? a nice lounge and restaurant and a non Irish pub bar scene with really great food. I was there last week on a Tuesday night and they were doing a wine dinner and had live jazz music. Every time I have been there the service has been fabulous! The bartender always makes great wine recommendations and makes a great martini. I have tried a few items on the menu (lunch and dinner) and so far I have always had excellent food ? the short ribs are really good! The place is still new so I think more people need to discover it.
nice atmosphere, hard to find. "It's a nice, quiet place for watching a game or grabbing a drink with friends after work. A bit pricey, though."
Trendy and Excellent. Vintage Lounge is excellent. It has fantastic food, beautiful decor (nice lounge chairs) and excellent service. The wine list is excellent. The bartender recommended several wines and of course I tried them all. They were fabulous. Not disappointed with any choice. It's a trendy and nice spot in the financial district. A great addition.
Best Of both worlds- Great food in a romantic dining room, Great drinks in a chic lounge. I have gone in 5 or more times since the place opened and each time i am more impressed. The food is excellent and way underpriced. The berry mojito and the Espresso martini were my favorites from the specialty drink menu so I suggest trying them. All in all the experience was excellent, the staff was attentive and informed, the prices were far below what I would expect to pay and I felt at home. I will be a regular here. (the bartenders are really attractive too- which doesn't hurt) I suggest you try it but make sure to eat while you're there. It's not to be missed.
Great atmosphere, but service leaves much to be desired..
The interior of this bar was fabulous. Casual but smooth seating, great bar setup and fabulous lighting. The atmosphere is definitely top notch.
However, the bartending service just didn't match up with the quality of the style of this bar. Once we ordered our drinks it took over 10-15 minutes for the bartender to even start the drinks and it wasn't extremely busy. Once the drinks were made two out of the three drinks we ordered were off. We aren't big complainers so for us to say anything in the first place means something was really wrong. When it was mentioned to the bartender there was no effort made to fix the drinks. He just shrugged his sholders and went on with business as usual. For $15 a specialty drink I expect for it to be made correctly and in a timely manner.
I might give the restaraunt a try, but I doubt we will ever visit the bar area again.
Best Night Out I have Ever Had. I bought a ticket for their New Years Eve party after hearing how great the food was and the rumors are true. Everything was excellent. The steak had incredible flavor and was cooked to perfection but even better, the martini was enormous and perfect. The atmosphere is exactly what Boston needs and I couldn't be happier with the service. I will say that the place was really crowded but it was New Years Eve in downtown so that is to be expected. The one time I was waiting for a drink the owner came over, introduced himself and helped me. I will be a regular and recommend the place to anyone who's looking for a good meal and a great time.
All-purpose nightlife destination adds a bit of style to Broad Street's after-work scene..
Located in a sort of no man's land between the Financial District and the waterfront, Vintage Lounge doubles as a stylish nightlife destination and upscale-casual spot for lunch or dinner. The lighting's kept dim, and the after-work crowds unwind on leather stools and a cream-colored sofa. Flat-screen TVs hover behind the bars, where designer martinis are shaken and stirred. The menu includes lamb meatballs, goat cheese-stuffed poblanos and herb-rubbed chicken with roasted artichokes.
