I sit here and read all the bad reviews about this gym. and it is so funny because Answeris fitness is so NOT like everyone describes. the people like Rohit M. that makes these claims is the people who clearly didnt get what they wanted in the gym. When you sign an agreement you should read what it says instead of complaining and whining to everyone that the gym takes your money. I have been a member since 2007 and i love this gym. i read the agreement and i uinderstand that you have to give a 30 day notice to cancel your membership and if you dont you are responsible fro the next month payment. that was clearly explianed and put in writing. dont try to make this gym look bad because you clearly dont knoiw how to read or understand agreements. As far as no service provided, LMFAO... rally thats why there are over 6000 members here, there must be a service. As far as no one at the front desk, there is a full staff on at all times and they all say HI when you walk in the door and when you leave and if they didnt it was because they were busy doing something else or maybe helping another member. Answer Is Fitness was rated the number one BEST HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTER IN 2012 BY THE SUN CHRONICLE. Get your facts right about the gym before you write these incredibly WRONG comments. also you get what you pay for when you join planet fitness, and not every person needs tanning!
Not worth it.
After they get you to sign your life away and take your money, they provide no service. There is no one ever actually working at the desk to answer your questions and if there is, they will just refer you to someone else who probably isn't working at that time.
If you try to quit they will keep charging you anyways until you notice and then you have to fight with them in the facility and with their billing company. All they care about is getting your money and providing the least amount of service to you.
Definitely not worth $25. I'm at Planet Fitness now for $20 with much better facility and free tanning. Not to mention I can bring a guest for free every time if I wanted or go to other locations. Hassle free and the people that work there actually greet you as you come and go.

Dont do it.. This management team hasnt a clue about customer service. Unfriendly staff, hot, stuffy and currently smells like mold in here. Know that the music in the ladies locker and w/out area is so loud most of the time you cant hear your own music. Instructors:please, screaming into your mike during step class, cant hear you! On that note, does any one on the staff her make your members feel welcome at all? Why downsize the already small ladies workout area?Oh to accomodate personal training sessions which bring in more $. A 2yr contract in this economic environment? yeah, right. save your $ for WOW in Foxboro or the previous Planet Fitness in No Attleboro. Both opening soon!!!
Not impressed with staff: unfriendly and conceited!. I tried my best to like this gym but the staff really turned me off. I like taking classes but found that the instructors taught to their friends in the front row and not to the "uncool" people who were new or not part of their clique. My very first spin class there was with the aerobics director and it was terrible. There were new people in class and she didn't even ask if anyone was new and didn't bother to help them set up their bikes. She was too concerned with her "friends" in the front of the room. She then turned the lights off so it was pitch black and played music so loud I saw a few people with ear plugs in!!! I'd been spinning for years and never took a class that unprofessional and unsafe. Hello, you have new people in class and you can't even see what they are doing is safe! I tried other classes and was again disappointed in the unprofessionalism. I finished out my 2 years and went back to another gym near where I work. What a difference! It isn't as flashy but the instructors are safe and care about all the members, not just their friends. I would never recommend this place unless you want to feel like you don't matter.
great gym in my opinion.
I have been a member of answer is fitness for awhile. I participate in some of the free classes, they are great. I have also utilized the training - the trainers are excellent.
The gym is clean, and the people there are friendly (I am from north attleboro, and see a lot of other people from the town there). Facilities are clean and plenty of equipment.
Extra charges...not fun.
I recently did a "trial" and was told I had 30 days to cancel. I ended up finding a gym closer to me, so I cancelled wtihin the 30 days. They told me I had to come in and sign something to cancel. I was then charged a months fee. I called to have it refunded, and they gave me a song and dance about it taking 30 days and that I would be responsible for it.
I wasn't happy. 30 day trial should not equate to a fee.
It was really frustrating and it is still not resolved. This was over a month ago.
Misleading and Unethical.
I recently found a charge to my credit card for monthly dues that were supposed to end 12/31/09.
I was told that because I did not personally come in and sign a form 30 days prior to the expiration to cancel, that they could not refund the money.
I told the orginal sales person that I did not want this auto re-new feature and he yet signed me up for it anyway.
Even though I called the day it was changed to credit card, they would not refund my money b/c I did not come in person.
I am very disappointed in this establishment and would not reccommend it to anyone.
This Gym is horrible they lie cheat & steal EXCUSES. I was told 24.99 a month they signed me up for 35.99 and took out over due fees bounced my bank account because they took more than was agreed upon. treated me like I was no good and told me I should have not had my bank account bounce because of them it was my fault. I have been speaking to whom ever answers the phone or whom is at the desk when I come in for almost a month now to get my money. I am told I need to speak with Jim Disteo the employee that signed me up. Then I was told I could speak wity Dan Fortier the General Manager but niether is ever there and dont call me back. I have been a member of Planet Fitness in Norton for 3 years and have never had a billing problem. I also have never been treat the way answer is fitness has treated me. Still no money back yet since May 14th. DONT EVER GO TO THIS GYM!!!!!
Sound Like Competition. Reading all the other reviews you would have to be dumby not to know that these are the employees arguing over what gym is the best. Quite frankly I went to college and lived in the area my whole life and I have worked out Fitness Plus which in the day was nice club and still is a decent club. Fitness Plus has all ways been the only club to work out at except for the Y which is joke. Its not bad but needs to be cleaned up. I went to this Answer is Fitness after knowing the owners of Fitness Plus. I thought it was going to be this little gym with no equipment, if I listened to the staff at Fitness plus. To my surprise it was nice and clean and the staff is pushy but I think its because they really think its the best and there is nothing wrong with that because thats called pride. The pushyness was more so I would reach my goals then joining. He actually said if the price is too high maybe its not for you. I threatened, I was going somewhere else and he said please if thats what you want I support that. He reiterated if you reach your goals there that could be the place for you. He did say one thing that made me go back after not joining for about a month. He said where about educating you on fitness and if you need assistance where there for you. I remembered that and realized a gym is not a gym its my health and my gym never said that!! Thats the difference. 25 lbs. later I feel great and would never go anywhere else.
