"when I initially filed the claim, all I really expected was a fair insurance reimbursement for the damaged caused by the "April Fools Day" storm; a storm that resulted in tens of millions of dollars in damages throughout the region. I am truly appalled at the attitude and behavior of the insurance company. I was treated as though I were a criminal, my personal integrity was questioned, the competency of my contractor was made suspect, information was withheld, and the entire process was dragged out for over nine months. Needless to say, I just recieved a "Notice of Cancellation" from the insurance company, less than one week after the claim check finally cleared the bank.

Although I never would wish this experience on anyone, I would absolutely recommend you to anyone seeking professional representation in an insurance claim dispute. It was a pleasure doing business with Popkin Adjustment Company.

Before all of this, we had never heard of a Public Adjuster. When the pipes burst and the house flooded, an acquaintance of ours suggested we hire a PA right away. We honestly thought that the insurance company would treat us fairly and we would simply put our house back together and live happily everafter. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that the insurance company was looking for a cheep settlement with only their best interest in mind.
