Twirl on the Carousel. Oh, carousels. I love you so. Yes, I’m an adult but I love me a good carousel ride in the sun. I prefer the vintage style of carousel featured here on the Greenway. It’s a little gaudy, very shiny, and lights up at night.

Great place to take young out of towners and a good way to cap a stroll down the Greenway. The carousel is open beginning in May and seems to stay as long as the fall weather holds. Tell me you wouldn’t think it would be cute option for a date night, too? Rides are a couple of bucks but that is a small fee for the little glee that I feel when twirling (albeit slowly). Cap off your visit with something sweet from Faneuil Hall and its better than going to a country fair.

The carousel is located near Columbus Park, Faneuil Hall, and the Aquarium so you can take almost any T there. Have fun!…
