This place gave me HORRIBLE results. i asked for an ombre hair fading down into a lighter color starting at my shoulders! the stylist put platinum blonde streaks from my roots down on my whole head. we asked him in advance if he was able to do this hair style because it is fairly difficult and he clearly couldn't. he toned it down because i was so upset and left my hair with gray streaks. this was the worst experience i have ever had at a hair salon and i don't recommend it at all. On top of this all i had to pay 65$ for the product and make another appointment at a salon to get all of my hair dye back to my original color costing around 150$. DONT GO TO THIS SALON

Best Keratin Treatment. You need to go to Wendell at Leeba on State Street. Not only is he devastatingly handsome, but he really listens to his customers and their needs. I've been seeing Wendell for more than 3 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my highlights. I always get compliments on my hair. Once I was even stopped on the street by a stranger to ask where I get my hair colored. Just recently Wendell recommended a Keratin treament for my hair which can be prone to frizz. Not only is it straight, shiny and frizz free, it now takes me no time to style it. 5 minutes to dry it and I don't need to flat iron all the time. I highly recommended Wendell.

Great highlights,cuts,blow drys and so much more!. I have lived in Boston for three years and Leeba salon is the only salon I trust with my hair. Before when I got highlights done at other salons the color wouldn't be right or the highlights would be uneven. But here at Leeba they know what they are doing and take their time! I've never been disappointed here. Plus they all do an awesome job with cuts and blow drys. Everyone here knows what they are doing so I trust any of the stylist. Plus the staff is so nice! This salon is very clean. That's one major thing I look for in salons and if they are not clean then forget it. But here at Leeba everything is clean and the atmosphere is modern.To top it all off their prices are amazing. I would recommend this salon to anyone in Boston!

Best stylist I have seen in a long time!. Hello everyone!!!! I am a regular customer of Leeba Salon, and honestly I have never ever had a better experience. Mariela is one of the stylists that work there and she has been doing my hair cuts and hair colors since 2008! SHE IS GREAT! I have tried so many other salons but she does the best job ever! She is very professional, takes time to listen to the customers and really does a good job accomplishing what you asked for. She is also very caring and takes pride in her work,I went to get my hair done not very long ago and the results were great! Mariela is also very gentle with your hair when I walk out of Leeba Salon I just love my hair. The other guys there are very good too, I highly reccomend a visit at Leeba Salon!

Great Cut!. Always a great haircut!!!! Schedule an appointment with Marela at Leeba Salon on State Street. She is always pleasant and she really does an amazing job! I have been a client of hers for over 2 years and have NEVER been disappointed. It is such an easy walk from work so if you work in the financial district it is such an easy lunch time cut! Thank you Marela!

Best Cut/Highlight Ever!. If you want a great cut or a new look, you have to make an appointment with Saliba Shako, owner and stylist @ Leeba Salon. He's a professional and talented hair stylist who knows his business - and in my opinion is "simply the best"! I've been a client of his at the State Street salon for almost a year now, and have to say he does an awesome cut and an incredible highlight. It's amazing how many compliments I get (even when I'm due for a cut)...thank you Saliba! I've been to quite a few salons, but the search is over....I've got the best stylist in Boston! So don't hesitate, call Leeba Salon and request Saliba, you won't be disappointed!

Uneven eyebrows. I have been to Leeba several times and usually I am very satisfied with my waxing service. However, today I walked out with two eyebrows that were uneven. I returned to my office only to look in the bathroom mirror and see a noticeable change between my left and right brows. One was thinner than the other which is disappointing because I have been trying to grow them out a bit. Two of my co-workers noticed the difference too. So I had to go back and have the one I actually liked made thinner to match the other. The employees were apologetic which was appreciated. I am wondering if the fact that I was in a room where they did not use a magnified mirror to perform the waxing and shaping was part of the problem. A little leery to go back since the services are a bit pricey.

Disappointing for downtown salon. There are no refreshments offered here, and no shampooers. There was no consultation to what I wanted to do with my hair before it was washed. My scalp was burned by the hair dryer. I shudder to think about what was happening to the rest of my hair if my scalp was getting burned. I definitely won't be going here again.

Strange place, expensive to boot.
When I first walked into Salon Leeba, I was impressed, it seemed upscale and had a very European feel to it. Unfortunately, I received some very creepy comments and looks from the owner (Leeba i.e. Saleeba) as he was styling my hair. I felt it was very inappropriate and would not feel comfortable going back there. And to top it off, my cut cost more than twice what I had paid at my previous hair dresser's salon..!!
Bottom line, not recommended.

Great Hair Cut.
I have been seeing Saliba both at the Leeba in Brookline and at the State Street location for two years now. He is great! I have very thick hair and he does the best job cutting it! He thins it out very nicely. It is a bit pricey for just a hair cut, but I will keep going back to see him!
The place itself is ok, could be a bit cleaner.
