Southie Dive Bar--$2 drafts :).
So this is the quintessential Southie dive bar. Half the patrons are Irish (super cool.. I've got the red hair but haven't tried faking an accent in a few years), the beer's cheap.. and it's close to Dot Bay and a bus to drop you off @ the end of H St. Although I haven't eaten here, I hear they've got some pretty good deals on seafood and normal Irish fare... mmm bangers.
This is a place I can wear jeans @ and not get looked at funny.. not so much with the Biz Caj--but hey, it's Southie. You could probably walk in there in your sweats, kilt, rugby kit or firefighting gear and meet someone else who's wearing the same thing. Sláinte!
They've got plenty of toobs to watch the game(s).. Don't you DARE ask for any other team than Boston, though. Or Gaelic football :) I met a few well-defined Irish footy players there and let me tell you, those blue eyes and brogues will get me every time <3
