Best pizza for the Watertown crowd. One of the better pizza shops Watertown residents can access. Very tasty pizza. The kind where the cheese oil settles a little on top and seeps back into the crust. Just real good pizza. Haven't tried anything else from them other then the salad which is pretty good.

Stopped there on a whim, about a year ago, and was pleasantly surprised. I gobbled down the two slices.

Though I have had better pizza which would be a real 5 stars but considering the area, BD deserves it. And the guy is always pleasant on the phone.

Fantastic pizza!. We've been ordering from Big Daddy's for a few months now, and it never fails to disappoint. Their normal pizza takes me back to NYC - the crust is crunchy and thin, with a perfect blend of tomatoes and cheese. The Sicilian pizza is just as good - and I'm not usually a fan of Sicilian. Their delivery is fast and reliable. Also try their jalapeno poppers!

Outstanding!. finally decided try out this place and all I can say is...wow! First, the guy behind the counter, Pete is friendly and actually talks to me( when was the last time that happened?!) He made me feel like I mattered. Huge points there, but now to the food...I had the chicken parm sub..outstanding! I also met the owner, Steve and he was so nice and also really friendly. I know that this may seem insignificant but when you get to try a slice of their pizza(delicious, BTW), and made to feel like you're not just a receipt to them AND you have great food? You can be sure I'll be back. Great place with great food. See you soon!

Freshest "Pizza" Place-Lunchtime's a No No. My first time at Big Daddy's was quite positive: I loved the "South End Caprese" full of fresh buffalo mozzerella, wonderful prosciutto, basil pesto mayo and the added grilled chicken, which made it burst with flavor. They didn't skimp on the prosciutto either which most places would have in such a large sandwich. My fiance is a garlic bread fanatic and also fell in love with the very fresh, super "garlicky", garlic bread.

The second time, I placed my order over the phone, and was excited for my return to this quaint little "pizza and sub shop", which really has so much more to offer than the typical sub and pizza joint-especially due to the freshness of their products.

I originally wrote a rave review before heading there for lunch today-unaware of the lunchtime crowd...

To my surprise, however, I had to wait a half hour for my order to come out...! They apologized, explaining they were short one staff member who had in fact been rushed to the hospital, which was understandable, but, I also saw some other distressed people have orders come out late, and wrong, and when I left I found they forgot to put their wonderful fresh buffalo mozzarella into my "caprese"....:(

Play it safe- avoid the lunchtime frenzy and maybe opt for the free delivery instead! You're in for a better experience if you manage to get there on a slower, rainy sunday.
