Fear not. This service is wonderful.

I am an aging minister who has worked with Desi M. since the ‘90s, well before the opening of Agora. She has impeccable taste, a great heart, and will go the extra mile for the couples whose weddings she adorns. //
May I remind her critic—the only one I have ever heard of, by the way—that artists who are pulling off major productions sometimes use more strenuous cajoling than, say, the stereotypical librarian. I’ve seen flashes temper from time to time, but it arises from frustration in the service of the project, not mean-spiritedness. I appreciate people who are genuine, people whom you can tell are authentic.//
Desi is Martha Stewart without the venom. You can put your entire trust in her. And your guests will marvel at her work.
Best customer service in the floral biz

Thank you Hannagan for pointing out that some people are never satisfied. I have been to Agora on many occasions (and apparently, Hannagan has also been there multiple times as she claims she heard the owner yelling on more than one occasion, so I wonder why she returned), and Desi has always been very gracious and professional. She provided me with impeccable customer service and her creativity really shined through. We have referred countless friends to her and the response has always been positive. All I can say is -- Desi keep up the great work! YOU ROCK!...and Hannagan can crawl back under hers.
The yelling worker/owner

I recommend that people go elsewhere for their party planning needs. You couldn't pay me enough to have to deal with Desi (the owner?). She seems stressed out or unable to handle what is going on around her. I heard her yelling at people on the phone more than once. It's not the kind of thing you want to hear when you're planning your special day. It is neither appropriate nor professional.
