Horrible service with rude staff. This restaurant had very bad service. It took an hour and a half for our food to arrive after ordering. The waitress avoided us after the first 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, I was finally able to get her attention and she said it would take another 2 minutes. 15 minutes later, the manager came over and said it would be another 2 to 3 minutes. The waitress then continued to avoid us until the food finallly arrived. When I complained to the manager, he said I was lying and that there was nothing they could do.

Do not go this restuarant, it is worth the prices at all. Go to Three instead.

Beautiful Atmosphere. First time in restaurant on a weekend evening...fantastic upbeat atmopsphere, excellent food, phenomenal wine list, prompt service. Adult lounge upstairs with pool tables and fireplaces hard to find in this area. Newly added patio seating. Vallet parking nice touch. Was very impressed with finding a gem like this in the suburbs. Even take all reservations. Will visit again and again!!!

A Most Forgetable Experience. Hard to know where to begin. First we noticed how loud it was, conversation across the over sized booth was very difficult. While the waitress was pleasant the service was exceptionally slow. My meal, the Monday Veal Special was cold and over cooked to the point of being inedible.. The waitress offered to exchange the meal but I didn't want to go through another long wait. After talking to the manager she returned and basically said "too bad, but that's life." There was no offer of a discount or any other form of we're sorry. The other two meals were also less than spectacular. At least the company and wine was enjoyable.

Not what they say. I went to Incontro restaurant based on some good reviews of the place from family members and general buzz around the area. I just found that this place leaves you scratching your head. The converted mill atmosphere and large bar were fantastic, but manditory valet parking was quite a shock. "Aren't we in Franklin?" I thought. To add to that frustration, the place was very noisy, even in the tiny dining room area - obviously the bar was a big draw for this place. The food was good, though service was painfully slow. They have an elevator for wait staff because the kitchen is on the first floor, but the dining room is on the second floor. Hmmm. As the night dragged on and our waitress seemed to lose energy, we made the mistake of ordering dessert. This prolonged our night another 45 minutes or so, as someone "lost" our order. Supposedly a manager was consulted, but we could not be sure until we saw the bill, and were sure no manager did, because no manager with any sense would leave unhappy customers without even taking off so much as a coffee... Boo! Not only did I leave a tiny tip for the waitress, but even the valet got nothing. I go with the other reviewer here - people are too snobby!

Management is TERRIBLE!!! Boston Prices in Franklin, MA!. I was invited to Incontro for a 40th anniversary party a few weeks back. My boyfriend was hosting it for his parents and chose Incontro because it was relatively new and close to his parents house. He reserved a table for 15 guests about a week or two in advance. However, due to some family coming in from out-of-state last minute there ended up being a few more. When he found out that morning he called to tell them that there may be another 2 people in the reservation. He was told by the hostess that they didnt have the room to seat us. Without telling us that they had private rooms that would seat 25 people that were available, they were ready to turn down a party of 18 (imagine that???). After speaking with several people he asked if they had private rooms available which they did and he reserved one.

When we got there that night we were seated in the private room and ordered some cocktails to wait for everyone to arrive. There happened to be a 15-year old cousin who came along with his parents and was sitting with everyone in the private room drinking water. When the waitress asked for his ID we were told that everyone had to be 21-years-old in the party and that the parents had to bring their child downstairs and couldnt eat with us for his aunt and uncle's 40th anniversary.

It was unreal. The amount of business that this restaurant lost that night when we all walked out was obscene. Never mind ruining a 40th Anniversary party for an entire family. Its a shame that a restaurant that is in Franklin, MA could have such an attitude and I would firmly not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I cant wait for the day that this snobatorium is bankrupt and promptly turned into a SUBWAY.
