Tips for Mystery Cafe Dinner Theater

Mystery Cafe - A really fun night out in Boston. We had a great time at Mystery Cafe at the Elephant & Castle. The food was surprisingly good, the actors were very talented and the shows was really fun for my family and I. Parking was even easy and free as it is in an area where there are lots of meters, after hours and not a lot of people. For dinner and a show, it was well worth the money. I hope to try one of their other shows, maybe the one in the North End, next.

Dont expect to eat your dinner off a table. You will only have your lap to eat off of.. My husband booked the murder mystery cruise (for 20 people) for my 30th birthday party. I just wanted to give you some feedback. We felt the seating was not good at all, half of us had to turn around in our seat the whole time to watch the show, it was very awkward. I was very disappointed in the whole "dinner". I can't believe that my family and friends were invited to a "dinner" cruise and had to eat off of their laps, without a table to put anything on. My sister got a beer dumped on her pants, because someone sitting next to her was trying to juggle their dinner plate, dessert, and beer. For the amount of money we were charged for these tickets, I was appalled by what we got for our money. This should not be advertised as a dinner cruise, when you don't even have tables for people to eat off of.
