Appliance shopping even if you dont know anything
by jay8440 at Citysearch
As a twenty-six year old guy, appliance shopping isnt something thats high on my list of fun things to do. With that being said, I actually had to go out and buy a washer and dryer, becasue after mine broke I couldnt keep buying new socks. So I went to Yale on the advice of my dad, and they were great. I feel like and expert on washers and dryers. I know all about high efficiency front loading machines. The salesman Tom, was great and not only did I get a great price, but they delievered for free and took away my old one for free! I also have an electric dryer and they gave me the cord for free (Best Buy wanted 20 bucks). All in all it was a great expierience and what impressed me the most was that eventhough I am a fairly young guy, they still treated me with respect which isn't usually the case.

Amazing Showroom and Knowledgeable Staff
by kaboobie at Citysearch
If you're looking for higher-end appliances or really cool lighting fixtures for your home, this is the place to go.
The showroom is really cool. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. I left knowing more about energy efficient appliances than if I had gone to a green conference. The really cool thing about Yale is that there is a chef cooking food in the showroom! I had this delicious soy, cranberry, wheat gluten yogurt thing that was out of this world.
Needless to say, I left with a beautiful washer/dryer set. You have to check this place out, even if it's just to get some ideas for your home.
