A shell of sleek blue glass encompasses the InterContinental's 424 rooms, many of which feature city and waterfront views. With its wired rooms and high-tech meeting spaces, the hotel caters to business travelers and groups. Tourists enjoy a convenient base from which to explore the city, with the Aquarium and Quincy Market right down the street. The massive spa and health club includes an indoor lap pool and steam room.

A welcome addition to the city's luxury hotel scene.. The IC is doing things the right way. Top-level service, and other than the chilly winds off the water, it's a great location. Maybe the nicest pool and gym I've seen in a Boston hotel -- I didn't want to leave.
