This sanctuary after shopping at bloomies or any nearby shops has been below the radar for quite some time and my girlfriends and my favorite spot for the longest time. Quiet, great food and mood setting music makes this place either an AWESOME break the ice date spot or regular coffee spot. They have wine, and dessert too! Do NOT waste one more second at starbucks and take a leisurely walk to one of the best cafe's in NYC. Our latest obsession is the egg salad sandwich (we add cheddar)... but for those of you who eat meat (I don't) there is a hefty variety of other options!) Ask for the bottle of dressing on the side (I don't know what's in it, but it ROCKS!!)

I ordered with my credit card including a $5.00 tip and the guy came with a cash receipt with a diffrent amount asking for cash payment. Who printed the fake receipt that had diffrent items and a diffrent price? The food was not horrible but I am left suspicious. The 5.00 was clearly included and it was clearly a credit card transaction. Had the receipts been the same I might have seen a margin for error. Otherwise fire the dodgy staff members.
