Thank you!. Brought my new Audi in to have a protective film put on the front end. A-Z did a great job with the install. Not only was it much cheaper than the dealer, they were also very friendly.
Freddy the owner was very responsive. Freddy the owner was very responsive to the concerns I had about my repair. While the initial work had a few issues, he was very concerned to hear this, acknowledged them, and did what was necessary to make it right. I ended up very satisfied. If you have any issues with your repair for whatever reason, make sure Freddy knows about them.
Terrific Car Repair. Backing out of my garage and not realizing the door was not all the way up, I violently ripped off the antenna from the roof of my Mazda CX-7. The force not only ripped off the antenna but also caused a dent in the roof and deep scratches in the paint. I had just bought it (<1300 miles!) and the the paint was a special metallic color (black cherry) which I was worried about being able to match. The dealer didn't do repair work, and I knew the Audy's through their gas station in Brighton, and had heard good things about their repair business. I couldn't be happier with the result of the work they did...I would defy anyone to find any evidence that work had been done on the car. No evidence of a dent, or deep scratches, and the paint was matched perfectly. They also replaced the antenna and repaired its connection so I have perfect reception. The cost was much less than I expected as well. Everyone there was courteous and helpful and they delivered the car freshly washed and cleaned...inside and out. I am generally skeptical of claims made when I am considering someone to provide services but Billy Audy and his crew lived up to his claim, at least in my experience, that A-Z was the best in Boston.
Worst Auto Detailing Ever. I recently used a Groupon certificate for car detailing by A-Z Auto Center in Brighton. The result was terrible—little better than a simple wash and wax with interior shampoo. The wheels had dirt still packed in the crevices and dirty film on all areas except the outer surface. The interiors and exteriors of the windshield and rear window were streaky. The wax finish had swirl marks in it, and the paint finish had many small scratches that were not taken care of. The roof still had tree sap stains on it. Although the door jambs and sills were cleaned, the seals on the trunk lid and hood had not been cleaned of debris and dirt. The headlights were filmy and finely scratched. The floor mats were still wet and stashed in the trunk along with some maps that had been soaked. And the radio was tuned to a station different than the one it is usually on, and volume was very loud. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the A-Z Auto Center for anything, and certainly not for auto detailing.
Great Glass Repair.
I had my windshield replaced in about an hour. I watched the whole process. Very professional and skilled. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Awful customer service, decent repairs, shady dealings.
I usually sign up for an account in order to review for either great service or awful service. Unfortunately, this will be one of the latter.
I came to these guys on March 28, 2010 on account of their incredible service rating. In short, precedent usually sets up for repeat, but in this case, I was short-shafted in the highest degree.
My car had received some damage in which I had called my insurance company to look at. The insurance company had given me a claim number and adjuster, as well as a third-party appraisal manager. Fortunately for me, the damage under the car was under $1000, and with a $300 deductible, I imagined that I would only pay the difference.
On the positive side, the repairs were completed within 4 business days and I was told to pick it up or suffer storage charges of $50/day. With this strong incentive I went to pick up my car, the repairs looked great, although I didn't receive a wash and vac service. All in all, they had told me "that insurance would cover it and that I had to pay to pick up my car." Wanting to avoid the storage fees and assured (not written) that everyone would be resolved, I paid the amount requested.
A day later, the insurance company called saying they would not cover ANYTHING due to the fact the appraisal people said there was NO damage whatsoever after dropping by the service center. Here is where it gets very gritty; the service center claims to me that it reported damage as given in my report, while also claiming the service center did not report damage to the appraiser. The appraiser reports to me that it has been looked at and appraised for near $455 dollars, but will add an addendum when it is finished. Contrary to that fact, the appraiser admits no damage to my insurance company and my insurance company refuses payment.
It seems that the disjunction between multiple people put A-Z auto center at fault (source), as well as my insurance company (recipient of false info). All in all, I am very unhappy that none of this was clearly explained and that I have to pay out of pocket. The insurance company was Commerce with AAA, adjuster named Nina who was highly hostile and uncooperative. I am moderately happy with the work, but I am frustrated beyond all hell with their insurance negotiation policies.
In the end, they give good service and great car washes, but when it comes to using your insurance to pay them for an auto collision/accident, it is not worth a second of your time to choose them. Take my heed of warning as you will, and hopefully you won't get scammed as I have. Best of luck in the future to all you motorists.
Surpassed my highest expectations- a hidden gem!. First of all I never have felt compelled to write a glowing review before but these guys take the cake. Greg is wonderful, and tells you exactly how the process works as well as put pictures on the web so you can see the work being done, will deal with your insurance for you, arrange for a rental for you and then deliver your vehicle not only excellently repaired but fresh and clean. It was by far the best auto repair experience I have had in 51 years. Just call Greg and you will be pleased.
great service. I went to AZ because my car got damaged from ahit and run. They did exceptional work on my car and went beyond my expectations. I will definitely come back to get my car done here!
One of the Best Auto Centers around. I recently took my mercedes in to A-Z auto center to get repainted and dent freed. From all the reviews I've read about this place I had high hopes and figured that my baby would be in good hands. I am glad that I choose A-Z over all the other places I looked at. Not only did they take care of my baby and do excellent work on my car, their customer service is excellent as well. They took care of all my needs, made sure I understood what needed to be done and answered all my questions. I actually want to give A-Z a 4.5 star rating, but I can't. I give a 4.5 because there were small details that I thought could have been done/handled better. I'm not sure if it is becuase when I took in my mercedes A-Z was very busy, or it is becuase I am used to very high standards when it comes to my car, or it could just be that I am a stickler for details. When I read other people's reviews about their cars being spotlessly detailed, I had hope the same too. However, my car was not as clean as when I take it to Mercedes for a basic wash or detailing. Another thing was that, they miss the fact that the mercedes emblem on the trunk of my car was missing and needed a replacement, (however they are getting that fixed). Other then that the scratches on my roof are still there, they said that it could be buffed off, but the scratches were too deep. In the end, I am actually satisfied with the work they did on my car, the amount of time it took, and the friendlness of everyone at A-Z, and also the fact that they did the hood of my trunk eventhough it was not in the original estimate, and that they did it for free. I highly recommend this place if you need your car fixed and I would definately go back there again if I need a repair job done. (Just don't set your standards too high, like me, and you will definately be happy with the results). Oh and lastly ask for Greg, I think he is the best.
BEST AUTO CENTER AROUND.
I am a 25 year old girl who knows NOTHING about cars so it would be real easy to lie to me and take my money. About 6 months ago i tore off my bumper and had it duck taped onto my car. I kept putting it off because of two reasons... 1) horrible experiences I have had a other auto centers. I cant tell you how many times I had been ripped off. 2) I am SO BROKE!
FInally my bumper came off on the highway so I HAD to fix it. I am new to the area so I was searching for good reviews. I called A-Z and spoke to Kathy at the desk who was so friendly and nice. THey told me to come in that same day to get it looked at. James looked at my car said that i would be getting ripped off if I had been told i needed a new bumper, because it was actaully the cover that was torn off. He was so honest and explained every little thing. He even showed me what was wrong and how he would fix it. He was willing to take my car right there to fix it, but i had to have it for work. I brought it that next morning. I brought it in at 8:30AM and picked it up at 1PM. I was so embarrassed when i dropped off my car because my car was so dirty and gross. The inside was full of dirt on the floors and had water bottles and napkins all over. The outside looked yellow not white. When I picked it up I couldnt get over that it had been fully detailed. I hadnt seen my car that clean since the day i bought it. The tires were waxed the inside was vaccumed/spotless. NO bottles/napkins/dirt. It looked 100% brand new. I would hoenstly take my car there just for the detailing (they do that there too). I couldnt get over it. I feel as though a huge weight has been taken off my sholders and I am so thankful for James! P.S. The price was UNREAL. I was charged about $800 LESS than what other places were saying over the phone. NO JOKE!!!!! I feel so releaved that i have a place to go in the event that I need some repairs... GO THERE
