“Yes, Finale is a bit pricey, but not only are you paying for the food and desserts, but you're paying for the great wait service and romantic mood lighting.”
“It's a little pricy for a dessert but a great place to meet with friends or go on a date.”

Delicious and romantic. Yes, Finale is a bit pricey, but not only are you paying for the food and desserts, but you're paying for the great wait service and romantic mood lighting. The boyfriend took me here for Valentine's Day, and it could not have been cuter. The restaurant placed chocolate strawberries on our table as we sat down, which was an adorable arrangement. We then ordered the chocolate molten lava cake - I must say, it was heaven in dessert form! It was a bit small for $18, but worth it. Definitely try it out for special occasions.
pedestrian and overpriced desert spot. I had the miniature cheesecake, it had a slightly light consistency and a flavor to match. Overall it wa pretty decent, though the raspberry adorning the top was a dull color and terrible, I know they don't make the fruit but they should know a ripe berry.
Romantic setting and a clear focus on all things sweet make this the area's premier dessert destination.. Finale's handsome, softly-lit dining room provides an ideal pre- or post-show spot for couples on a date to the nearby Coolidge Corner Theatre. An overhead demonstration mirror affords a view of the pastry chefs that construct Finale's signature desserts. Young, friendly waiters are pleased to recommend selections from the epic drink list. Dessert is the focus, but there's also a respectable light dinner menu that allows patrons to enjoy a well-rounded meal without getting too full before the sweet stuff. Smart options include the rosemary-rubbed chicken Caesar salad and a Mediterranean pizza. Most diners skip the savory items and dive straight into desserts, like a divine, baked-to-order molten-chocolate gateau or the caramel carnivale (caramel mousse layered between puff pastry and served with fresh fruit in raspberry puree). Advanced sweet tooths should opt for the Temptation for Two, an assortment plate of cakes, gelato and mousse.
Horrible!. Desserts tasted like something my 12 year old could make from a box of powder with a couple of eggs and the price was way too high!
